New Unit: Cave Troll

He's a little low on the screen, but I couldn't help this due to his size. He's not that much lower though. I tried to make him comparable to the size of the Cave Troll in the movie. I wish I could have made my Ent unit bigger.

I think alot of people will have problems with his size. To that I say I think he is in proportion. Now keep in mind "in proportion" is relative when it comes to civ3. for example. All foot units that come with the game are the same size. Now, do you think everyone in the world is the same size? Mounted units are actually smaller than they should be (in my oppinion) The people on the horse are slightly smaller than the foot units. I don't think my spearman can see over the top of a tank do you? Sea units are very small and not even close to being in proportion. Planes are worse. My Ent can't be as large as I'd like it to be cuz of the restrictions of the game. So my Cave Troll is just as big. Kinboats Balrog can't be as big as it should either. But, it's still an AWSOME unit. I think people are too caught up in the size of units. This is my opinion. Thank you and have a nice day.

Don't worry about size. If you want him to tower over the other units to emphasize that trolls are way bigger than people, that's your choice; you've explained why you made him that size and I think we all respect that. For instance, my raft is as long as a submarine and I think it's actually still a bit small

After all, if anyone is really bothered by the size of a unit, they can always download Steph's SBB and change it for themselves. It's the C&C motto: if you don't like something, change it

i agree with you, but i think he is so big that you cant see the units behind him. Dont misunderstand me, its a very cool unit. :cool:

Thats true. Never thought of that, but oh well. hey, Yoda. I wasn't just responding to you, a number of people have made the too big comment. I was just writing that in anticipation of the "too big" comments.

There's one pb with its size. In the attack A animation, its club doesn't fit in the frame. That's my only pb.
