Poll: Monthly Competitions for October, 2013

My apologies to all for the late start this month. Unfortunately, RL responsibilities necessitated the delay. But falling as it does, between the holidays, perhaps this is a good time to attend to it afterall..

First, belated Happy Birthday/Anniversary to the C&C forum, which turns 12 years old this year. For this, the site will be getting braces and a Katy Perry album.

The Unit contest is great this month, featuring three of our best unit makers. This month's nominees are:

I would remind everyone that there were 28 new units added to the database last month, including many by these artists. I encourage everyone to browse about a bit to see all the new stuff. My thanks to the entrants for sharing their work here. To enter your own new unit, graphic, or leaderhead to the monthly contest, click over to the Monthly Competitions Submissions Thread. Every year the winner of the monthly contests compete for Unit of the Year and PCX Graphic of the Year. The winners of past Monthly and Yearly contests can be found in the Competitions Hall of Fame.

It ought to get a heavy metal album, a dark t-shirt and long jeans with holes, like all 12-year-olds should.

People should post more in the announcements thread. Not everyone can be checking the downloads database all the time, and the database is constantly flooded by the uploaders of materials for all the other games.

You don't have to keep mentioning me in the credits for the monthly contests because I had no direct role in making the units, other than the initial file sharing.

Without your input Wyrmshadow the animations simply would not be very good. So, that is why your in the credits.
