This is my last nes, i have made sure that it is easy to update unlike the past neo-neses, since the original neo nes i have learned many moding lessons, and this is perhaps the final product, you might hate it, or love it, just take into account that these are just the start up rules, i will expand from here, please take the time to read the rules before joining, there are plenty of nations anyways.

HOW DO I MAKE MONEY?
Each nations Gross domestic product, or "production points" will be how much the nation produces every turn, you use this to buy or produce what you need. you cant however bank these points.

HOW DO I INCREASE MY ECONOMY?
Most nations start w/ a similar starting GDP, but you can increase it, 5 production points will buy you 1.

HOW ABOUT TRADE?
some nations will start w/ extra resources and luxuries needed to produce some things, some may not, so they can get a deal and import such, the players will set their prices, purely suply and demand.

HOW DO I BUILD UP MY MILITARY?
Simply, just as it was in the original neo-nes, you can create your armys and train more troops in each one of these armys.
the military stats will be shown as followed:

army ID # on map)- (army size level)(attack)(defence)(movement) [each star represents its veterancy]
Example:
1)-(1)(1)(1)(1) *

OK, SO HOW DO I GROW ARMY SIZE?
Each army size level increase will cost you 5 production points

HOW DO I GROW ITS MOVEMENT RATE, MORALE AND VETERANCY??
Simply, you cant, movement rate will increase as events occur, techs appear, and wonders are created.
Morale goes as how happy your population is, and how good the war is going.
Veterancy can only increase due to battle and it is random.

ARE THERE ANY LIMITS TO ARMY SIZE?
No there are none, each army can have as many troops as you want there to be.
altough the number of armys in the map will be limited due to your type of Govt.

BUT WHAT ABOUT NAVY?
Navy fleets will work just as armys, and the stats will be similar.
Each naval size level will also cost you 5 production points.
the fleet numbers will also be limited due to your type of Govt.

OK, SO WHAT ABOUT WONDERS?
this is anotehr new thing for neo-nesing, wonders WILL cost you,the piramids were not free you know? ;-) , wonders will only be available for construction after they are posted in the updates, so once it is stated in an update, you might want to start it, this will mean that there will be competition to finish them first, there can only be a wonder of each kind.
each wonder will require specific resources, and you must be required to spend a set ammount of production points in it.
if a civ completes the wonder before you did, only half of the money you spent will return back to your treasury, and even then it might be in unexpected forms.
no, you cant jsut switch to another wonder, each must be started from scratch.
more details as the nes starts and i intro the first wonders that can be built.
Please note that the wonders effects will be totaly unknwn until you have compleated them, but they will be worth doing ;-)

EXPANSION?
Expansion will be automatic and not under your control (unless you have a expansionist civ, read more below)

EDUCATION?
Education levels will be by numbers, you increase it by paying 5 gold per level. as it increases, you will get techs, their effects will be automatic, lets say you discover horse riding, your armys movement will change acordingly. you cant however, set your mind into researching simething specific, new techs will be more or less a random thing.

OK, WHAT ABOUT DIPLOMACY?
Communications will be given as nations expand and run into each other, or simple random effects.

ALLIENCES-
Your nation can only be part of 1 allience.
if you agree to join such allience, you are expected to stay by it in good and bad times, refusing to answer the calls of a member of the allience will result in negative effects.
alliences should have expiration dates so nations may withdraw w/out any problems.

HAPPYNESS?
Happyness will be the result of number of luxuries, events, wonders, peace, and storys.

OK....ANYTHING ELSE?
Yes, each civ gets its own special traits, you can only choose one, and only one, chose carefuly, and wisely, some traits will change over time and will get you better results in the future....

MMMH....WHAT ABOUT STORYS AND UPDATES?
updates will most likely be in the weekdays, perhaps even daily updates, and please regard that i will no hesitate to update even if i have 1 or 2 orders missing, if you forget to post orders is ok, the first couple of times ill continue your expansion and grow your economy as a default.
Storys?, dont have to do them.....ofcourse you want to do them if you need specific bonuses.

WHAT ABOUT THE MAP?
The map will remain as it is for now and a looooong time, the map will expand as the ages pass by, like every 15 turns or so.

GREAT, SO HOW CAN I JOIN?
Before you join please ask yourself if you have the time to do so, if you dont have the time, well dont join.
Choose a nation, you can only choose one of the nations already on the map and template, i have done this w/ something very important in mind.
Choose a Civ trait.
i will do the remaining stats, as each trait will get nations different startup numbers.
do orders.
FIRST UPDATE IS MONDAY!.

------additions:
INTRO TO RELIGION AND REBELLION.
A new stat has been added to each nation it is the one of religion.
as of now every nations population is 100% part of that religion (other than egypt), as your nation develops and conquers new territory, your religion will become fragmented
example:
Prussia : 70%Norse, 20%teutonic, 10%pagan
if you are at war w/ a nation of which your people share religius ties, they might rebel.
you can change your religion by having the leader of your nation convert to it, and your subjects might gradually follow you, however this is dangerous and can turn into bloody civil wars.
you can have any of the following ancient religions, jsut make a story explaining how on earh the russians became followers of Ra, or the greeks believed in Odin!

AVAILABLE ANCIENT RELIGIONS:

GREECO-ROMAN
EGYPTIAN
NORDIC
GAULIC
CELTIC
TEUTONIC
JEWISH
PAGAN
PERSIAN

Other religions shall be introduced as time goes on.

Rebellions:
As of now there has been virtually no rebellions, this will change and you might face them once in a while, so try to have military forces thorughout your empire jsut in case.

needs tech level 10

HOW GOVTs. WORK.:
Everyone starts as tribal confederations.
to change govt, just put it on your orders, please realise that you cant grow anything else in that turn.
they affect your economy, it will only decrease or increase in the turn you changed Govt.
so if you have 100 PPs and change to ancient monarchy, you will then have 125.
but if you become imperial, it will decrease to 75 PPs.
please note that its safer to change govt once in a long while, continuos change in Govt will result in very very negative effects.

Any nation that meet the requirements can start to build the wonder, to complete it, you must invest the production points it needs, if the piramids require 75 production points, you must spend some or all of your production points until you complete it.
if the wonder is completed before you do, half of the money invested will return to you in random forms. (no cant switch to another wonder, each must be started from scratched)
also, you cant choose its effects, ill disclose them as the wonder is completed, trust me, they will be worth it.

The first son of Romulus has come of age and has retaken the throne of Rome. He steps up to the rostra to make his first speech.

People of Rome, I Romulus the second, have ascended the throne to over though the Etruscan Kings. My supporters have run the tyrant King Tarquinius Superbus and we have run him out of Rome. He has sworn to return with his Etruscan brethren to retake Rome, but we will not let this happen. Rome, for to long, has bent under the strength of the Etruscan Kingdom. Men rally your arms, prepare for war.

After the speech Romulus the second left the Rostra to go and assemble his troops. Romulus had a plan for defeating the Etruscans, Rome once again was ruled by a Roman.

General Hannibal Barca stood before the people of Carthage. His coup had succeeded, and he was now the ruler of the city and all the land it controlled. He smiled victoriously and said, "I shall lead this glorious city to prosperity, more than the council could ever have!"

Some people cheered. Some smiled and nodded. A few just watched. Almost the entire population had supported Hannibal in his uprising, though there were certainly a few who didn't. Still, with a strong, loyal citizenship, danger to Hannibal was at a minimum. And if he were to be assassinated --

Well, whoever did it would be hunted down and tortured in public. And Hannibal had a son, Hamilcar (named for his father), who was old and wise enough to competently take command if he fell.

Carthage's government was in safe hands.
