As much as I would like to honor your request we cannot accept vote changes in elections, because there is no way to distinguish the original vote to verify the change is correct.
Based on Gogf's public admission, a moderator can actually have TF check election results and change them if necessary. And since a mod stands to benefit from the mistake, it's the only proper course of action.
I kind of like this situation, reminds me of a certain election in an American state called Florida, which according to rumors took place 4 years back. That election was also very close, and it ended up in a Supreme Court vote. Since the mods are effectively the mods of the demogame, and they are the ones handling situations like this, we should probably write into the constitution that moderators are Supreme Court, since after all, they will be the final point of descision in such a situation.
Let the election run it's course, if the final result would have meant that Daveshack would have tied with CT in the election instead of being one vote behind then it shouldn't matter.
