- 2000 IC : We found Itza, our capital and all around cool city. The ruins to the north contain a map of the region. Sci set to Farming, due in 12 @ max. Begin to produce a skink warrior

IT - I become a Despot! how fun!

-1900 IC : Skink Warrior made, he'll explore to the south. Start production of skink settler. Ajust Lux to avoid Riot, farming due in 9.

-1775 IC : Skink Warrior finds flood plains, settler made and starts heading there, a settler pump would help us a bit. Start another skink warrior in Itza. He can go check out the north.

-1725 Southern skink warrior disturbs evil forces, lovely. You'd think when you find evil forces you'd just leave them alone. That's what I get for leading small brained lizards. Farming due in 3.

gotta go to the grocery store, more laters.

-1725 IC : Adjust sliders, farming still due in 3, with 1 gpt. yay :) Cross my fingers about those Evil Forces, hit enter.

-1700 IC : Barbs diden't attack, they fortify. good news. Move settler towards fp, get skink warrior out of the way of barbs.

IBT One skeleton attacks my warrior, we kill it, but take a hit.

-1650 IC : Farming in, Set to pottery due in 20. Settler is in place, but there's a barb next to him. fortify skink warrior on him and hope he survives.

- 1625 IC : Itza builds warrior, he's off to the west to explor. Found Xlanhuapec and start production of Skink Warrior. Rais LUX to avoid riot in Itza. I need some lux. Itza starts on settler.

-1525 IC : Skeleton that was just hanging around Xlanhuapec starts moving towards Itza, will need some sort of warrior there for defence.

-1500 IC : Itza finishes Skink Settler, starts on warrior. Settler will head west to some lovely land we've discovered with rivers.

-01475 IC : Xlanhuapec builds warrior, going to try to kill that skeleton...
Skink Warriors can make a loin cloth sexy, but they can't defeat a skeleton warrior. D'oh!

-1400 IC : found Tlax on the rivers, start skink warrior. Annoying skeleton won't go away!

- 1375 IC : Itza builds warrior, starts shrine. Xlanhuapec finishes warrior, starts settler.
 
- 1375 IC : Going to send a skink warrior after that annoying skeleton.

-1350 IC : do one point of damage to the Skele, he kills my warrior. Barbarians are much harder to fight in the WH mod. They start out with 5/3/1 skellies.

-1325 IC : west warrior finds ruins, I remember i'm playing on emperor and leave them be. Pottery due in 1.

-1300 IC : Pottery in, Irrigation in 27. Tlax makes warrior, starts worker.

-1275 IC : Itza finishes shrine, starts worker. Xlanhuapec riots. ops, hire a clown to entertain them. Think about lizard men clowns for a moment, it's a fun thought.

-1250 IC : Xlanhuapec makes settler, starts Granery.
 
-1225 IC : Itza makes worker, starts Bugman's Brewery (prebuid for GL), Tlax makes worker, starts skink warrior.

-1175 IC : Move warrior in Tlax to block a skelie

-1100 IC : Skellie attacks a warrior and kills him. Tlax makes a warrior to escort the undefended settler.

-1000 IC : found Hexoatl on the mountains north west of Tlax, start to work on skink Warrior, have to rais lux to keep Xlanhuapec from rioting, it should finish granery soon and I can spew out settlers.

-950 IC : Xlanhuapec finishes granery, starts settler, Tlax finishes warrior, starts settler

-900 IC : Hexoatl finishes Skink Warrior, starts another. Complete road bringing Timber to Itza. This will let us build boats once we have a coastal city up and running. I need to get some warriors out looking for contacts.

-850 IC : Xlanhuapec finishes Skink Settler, starts another.

-825 IC : Tlax finishes settler, he'll head west. starts skink warrior.

-750 IC : Hexoatl finishes Skink Warrior, starts another. It won't grow untill Irrigation is in, which will be another 8 turns

IBT D'oh! Araby finishes bugman's! my prebuild is toast!

-725 IC : Itza switched to Granery, only lost 26 shields. Still stinks.

-725 IC : Itza finishes Granery, starts Warrior, Xlanhuapec finishes settler, starts another.

-700 IC : Tlax finishes warrior, starts another. One skink warrior dies trying to take out a Skellie, the other finishes him and I find a new barb camp right where the west settler was headed!

-675 IC : Untill Hexoatl can grow, it's on permanant Skink Warrior builds. pops out another one. Found Quetza to the north of Itza, it's a coastal town, starts to make Skink Warrior.

-650 IC : Itza finishes warrior, starts worker. Found Pahuax on the hills west of Hexoatl, knocks out the barb camp with it's innitial boarders. Starts on skink warrior.

-625 IC : WE have Irrigation! Itza finishes worker,starts on warrior. Science set to chronicals, due in 8. We may be on an Island, that would be aweful.

-600 IC : Tlax finishes Skink Warrior, starts on shrine. found Tlanxla to the south of Xlanhuapec it's another flood plain city, starts work on Granery.

-575 IC : Xlanhuapec finishes Settler, starts on shrine. Hexoatl starts on a worker, we'll need more now that we can Irriage.

We could be in huge trouble, it's starting to look like we're on an island. I'm hoping not. I want to get the black lib build in Itza, so we can keep up in tec, so we're going towards literature as fast as we can. I hope I can beat the AI. They tend to Ignore it, but i'm really scared of how backwards we must be.

I have explored everywhere, we are indeed on an island, though I should have been certain of that due to the lack of AI units. This is going to be a hard game. I've only been victorious on Emperor one time, that was on C3C and I was on a huge continent full of AI civs to trade with.

You folks feel free to chime in with advice or coments, other wise I'll just keep playing away!

IBT Skelie kills himself on a warrior near Xahutec.

-275 IC : Lit in, Mining due in 5. Quetza starts Shrine. OMG! The Norse City of Olricstaad has completed the Black Library! That city is going to fall! That's awefull. I can't belive how far back I am for them to complete the Lib when I've just gotten the tec to build it. Science set to Sailing, I've got to go find the Norse and plan how to Invade them. It's due in 10. In the mean time, I'm going to wipe out the barbs and try to get my island settled. Start Library in Itza and Xlanhuapec, I don't need any more warriors right this second.

-225 IC : Itza makes Library, starts Trade Goods, extra money will go towards science. Hexoatl starts Shrine.

-200 IC : Pahuax finishes Shrine, starts Library. Same for Xahutec. Skink Warriors close in for an assalt on the western barb camp. Sailing due in 4.

-175 IC : Xlanhuapec makes Libary, starts Settler. Tlax starts Libary.

IBT A spider sneaks up and pillages Xahutec. 1 skellie from barb camp attacks my warrior stack and dies after doing 1 pt of damage.
Spiders attack from west camp, one dies, 2 kill skink warriors. ugh. A spider from the north takes out a settler and warrior combo, not a good turn so far.

-125 IC : 3 skink warriors v/s 1 skelie and 2 spiders.... We win! western camp finally gone! Sailing in 2.

IBT Spider attacks Xahutec, we defend with a warrior and win, though we're redlined.

-100 IC Xahutec's border's expand and take out the last visable barb camp. Sailing in, start on Domestication, due in 4 Change Hexoatl to Canoe, due in 3. Our fleets set sail then..........
 
Glad you're enjoying my struggles! I'm not sure how much of a chance I have, we're WAY back in tec, and i'm not sure if i can catch up. Current plan is to find where the Norse are, establish a beach head, with a settler if there's room, with catapults and a weaker civ if there's not, and try to grab that Black Lib!

IBT spider attacks a spearman protecting a settler in the north east, we win. skelies and spiders from the camp that poped start moving in on Xahutec

-75 IC : Xlahuapec makes settler, starts worker, Tlanxla finishes shrine, it needed that to avoid riots. Starts settler. Find the camp of barbs up north, going to found a town and kill em.

IBT Skelie and spider attack Xahutec, or warrior fights them off and is now a vet! Our first vet, how cute!

-50 IC : Itza finishes settler, starts another. Pahuax finishes Library starts worker. Found Tlaxtlan in the north east, disperse barb camp. It starts on a shrine, there's a kracken just off shore from it. My canoe's are going to have a hard time getting off this island. I've already seen a few more sailing around. I'm hoping that by using coastal city's and the 5 movement points of a canoe, i can get away from the beasts, and perhaps get a settler over to the island that has to be east of Itza, you can barely see a bit o' green over there.

-25 IC : Xlanhuapec makes warrior, starts another. Tlax finishes Library, starts worker. Hexoatl makes CANOE! starts another. There's another barb camp south of Hexoatl, I was moving settlers there, start moving warriors in to take it out. Domestication due in next turn.
 
1 IC : Who ever makes callenders just made one. To celibrate, we make a sacrifice to Sotek. Guess who? The advisor who said it'd be a good idea to research irrigation before literature. Domestication in, mining due in 4. Itza makes Settler, starts another. Xahutec makes Library, starts worker. Imperials complete the Lighthouse of Manaan. We have Cammels and Horses in our boarders. We can't use them, but maby able to trade them for tec, all the human civs want horses, and we've seen Araby is in the game, they like their cammels.

25 IC : Xlahuapec makes worker, starts Brewery. Pahuax makes warrior, starts Harbor.

50 IC : Itza makes Settler, starts warrior. Tlax makes warrior,starts worker. Xahutec makes a worker, starts harbor.

75 IC : My canoe can see a blue boarder!!! maby it's the Norse. Woulden't that be nice! We attack a spider south of Hexoatl, skink promotes!

IBT : Skellie dies trying to kill a skink south of Hexoatl

100 IC : Tlax makes a worker starts warrior. Tlanxla makes settler starts another. Load 2 settlers in the canoe and head east. The blue boarders are Sylvania. They're up Mining, Riding, Balistics & Emissaries, and down Mysticismand Pottery. They won't offer me anything good except mining, which i'll get next turn. I'll revisit trading opportunitys then.

125 IC : Mining in. Sylvanians don't want any of my tecs. Fine, i'll kick their butt soon. Science set to Ballistics, due in 6. Itza makes warrior, starts worker. Hexoatl makes canoe, starts shrine. Quetza makes shrine, starts canoe. Attack the last visibal barb camp, south of Hexoatl. First skink dies, second wins and kills the skelie. Camp despersed. Canoe chugs on down the coast and spots red boarders under sylvania. who could these new people be, and what will they offer the great empire of lizard men?

150 IC : Itza finishes worker, starts warrior. Tlax makes warrior starts worker. Paying more attention, I have 2 sources of horses, would have liked something I could use. Westerlander city of Halsdorph completes the Moot. Fine, let them have their silly little halflings. It's appropreate anyway, that's where the Halflings live in the Warhammer world. Attack a kracken with a canoe by accident, but win with out a scratch. that's one tough canoe. Red boarders are chaos. Trade Sailing, Literature & Irrigation to Chaos for Smithing, Ballistics, Emissaries and Riding. Sylvania up military training now. Won't trade it. We have no Iron on our Island. Science set to Seigecraft, due in 14. Change Itza to Skink Archer. I'm going to make tons of Catapults when Seigecraft comes in, then tons of Archers with military training and barracks, and go Norse hunting.

175 IC : Tlax makes worker, starts Brewery. Khemri city of Khemri completes the Great Bazaar. They are way ahead of me in Tec, and having a free marketplace in each city will only help them more. They are on my hit list too. Canoe spots pinkish, purple boarders to the west of chaos lands. Found Zlatlan to the south of Hexoatl, on top of the old barb camp. It starts Shrine. Found Xhotl on the western tip of my island, start shrine.

IBT A redlined kracken moves to with in one square of my canoe with the settlers on it.

200 IC : Itza makes Archer, starts Archer. Goblin City of Gunbad finishes Chaos Moon. Guns aren't bad! North canoe finds a 2 tile tundra island. I may as well try to settle it, if I don't, the AI will. It gives more Unit support. Silly pink boarders are Ungols. Give them Irrigation, 56 gold and 2 gpt for Stone Working. Trade Vlad of Sylvania Stone Working and Mysticism for Civil Service and 2 gold. I'm now darn close to parity with these chumps. Sylvania is up Military Tradition and that's it, but I've got literature and pottery on him still. Maby this is doable. Change Itza to settler to grab the useless tundra island.

IBT Ungol Coricle enters my southern sea boarders. That ugly redlined kracken sinks my full strength canoe with 2 settlers in it. UGH! I hate barbarians!

225 IC : Hexoatl makes shrine, starts canoe. Pahuax makes Harbor, starts worker. Tlanxla riots. Have to be more carefull. Hire a sage for one turn, it'll make a settler the one after and be ok.

250 IC : Itza makes Settler, starts Archer. Xahutec makes Harbor starts canoe. Load up canoe to send to tundra isle.

275 IC : Tlanxla makes settler, starts brewery. Seigecraft due in 5.

300 IC : Itza makes Archer, starts another. Xlanhuapec finishes brewery starts Archer. Start moving some archers and warriors to Tlaxtlan, after the barb camp poped when it was founded, 5 or so skelies just fortified there and camped out. I forgot about them, but noticed them just now, and am going to punish them for, um, being alive.

IBT Brown wargally goes by Xahutec, who is that?

325 IC : Tlax finishes Brewery, starts Granary. Hexoatl finishes canoe, starts Library. Xahutec finishes canoe, starts another. Brown war gally is Red Eye Goblins. They're up, my god, almost everything ... Mil Training, Meteoric Iron, Seigecraft, Trade, Construction, you get the picture. Found Huatl on Tundra isle, I'm sure this will be a productive and usefull city for many years to come...not. It starts a harbor. canoe finds a big chunk of land that's unclaimed west of Tundra Isle. Going to try to beat the AI to it, though I be that's where the Ungol boat, and the Red Eye boat are going. Switch Itza to settler just incase.

Goblins are building Fighters Guild. They are up an ENTIRE AGE on me now. Move canoe's and troops to the cost off of Itza, The attack will come from there. Change Tlaxtlan to harbor.

IBT Westerland and Goblins sign an alliance v/s Ungols. Westerlangers are building Fighters Guild and Silk Route. We get to watch a Kracken eat an empire galley.

600 IC : Xlanhuapec makes Saurus starts another. Tlaxtlan makes a Harbor starts a Brewery (will be changed to shipwirght's guild next turn when we get ship making). Xhotl makes a canoe, starts Library. Axlotl makes a Harbor starts Library. Chupayotl makes Shrine starts Library. Westerlander city of Marienburg compleets the Suiddock. Load 6 Saurus & 2 Skink Archers onto canoes and move towards sylvanian city of Waldenhof.

IBT Watch an Ungol archer kill a goblin archer. Goblin Wargalley takes out that kracken.

610 IC : Ship Building in! Set sci to Blood Bowl, due in 12. Itza makes Saurus, starts another. I got contact with Araby from somewhere. He's up everything on me too. Tell Vlad he sucks and declare war. Unload my war party next to Waldenhof.

Vet Saurus attacks reg spearman, gets redlined but kills him. reg Skink Archer attacks wounded vet spearman, gets redlined but kills him. Vet Saurus attacks reg spearman, takes 2 hits but kills him. Only an archer showing now. Skink Archer attacks him does one point then dies, and sylvanian archer promotes. Vet Saurus attacks, takes 2 hits but wins. We capture Waldenhof, liberate 0 gold and 4 workers.

we now have silks in our boarder, and Waldenhof has a harbor, so everyone is quite happy. We order silk boxers and scarves for our armed forces. Set production in Waldenhof to Walls. Sacrifice one of the workers to get a border expansion.

We got the city, but all that's left to defend it is a Saurus with 3 hits. Unload more troops near Waldenhof.

I'm going to let the Sylvanian archers attack me, then attack the stack of spears. Upgrade 3 canoe's to War Galleys in Tlaxtlan. Change Chupayotl from Library to Harbor, not sure what I was thinking doing the Lib first.

640 IC : Xlanhuapec makes Saurus starts same. Saurus takes 2 hits to kill a vet spearman. Upgrade another 2 canoes. Land 1 Saurus next to Leicheberg. Attack Sylvania's big stack, kill 2 spearmen and a swords man for no lose. Rush walls in Waldenhof. They have 3 spears, 2 wounded longbow men, and 2 healthy longbow men south of Waldenhof.

IBT : One Longbow attacks Waldenhof, we kill it. Longbow attacks the Saurus we landed near Leicheberg, we kill it but red line.

650 IC : Itza makes Saurus, starts same. WAldenhof makes walls, starts Barracks. Tlax makes Saurus, starts skink warrior. Hexoatl makes Saurus, starts Aqueduct. WW kicks in I guess, Tlaxtlan and Pahuax riot, hire lizardmen mimes to entertain them. Arabyans are building The Witch Hunt. Hope they find one. Goblins are building The Tower of Zharr-Naggrund. Take out 1 spearman outside Waldenhof. Adjust Sliders, Blood Bowl due in 3 now. The stadiums will help with my depressing lack of lux, and the tec is often ignored, so may have trade potential.

Trade Araby Camels & 25 gold for Seafaring and Incense. Trade Ungols Horses for Spices, Blood Bowl and 4 gold. Bump into an Ironclaw boat. They are advanced, but lack blood bowl. Trade them Blood Bowl & Silks for 3 gold and Meteoric Iron. I don't think I'll need any more boats or upgrades for a bit, it's a gamble, but I trade the Ungols Seafaring and Timber for Trade & Iron & Wolves. Don't need the resources, but may as well have them. Change Xlanhuapec to Marketplace. Science set to Gearworks due in 7. Move 3 Saurus and 1 Skink Archer up to striking range of Leicheberg.

660 IC : Tlax makes Skink Warrior, starts Saurus Warrior. Xahutec makes Aqueduct starts Saurus. My people are quite happy with their new Lux. Pop rush Barracks in Waldenhof. We capture Leicheberg With 3 Saurus and 1 Skink Archer, killing a vet spear, 2 reg spears and a reg Longbow. 1 Saurus promotes to 'leet. We get 2 workers also. Leicheberg has a Harbor and Keep. Start on Shrine. Move some reinforcements to Waldenhof. Looks like the Sylvanian military is done for, I'm going to try to wipe them out when we return to battle.
