The Forbidden Palace of Thebes brings prosperity and makes our city vitually crime free! Thebes is one of the oldest cities in our empire, a haven for intellectuals and economists. We also have a proud military history and are aiming to bring Phoenatica into a new era with the commissioning of an Airport and a Bomer Wing. Thebes is located on fertile soil and surrounded by starkly beautiful natural scenery.

Hello. I'll be settling in Thebes. I could use a little guidance of what to do, and I look forward to...whatever it is you do here .

Well, if you have a look at the Ashinxia page (Thebes is the capital of Asphinxia province), you will notice that gambling, mind altering drugs and permiscous sex are all on the agenda, so you might start with some of those!! If you are of higher mind, try a visit to one of the many churches and libraries of our fair city. If you feel like taking an active role in public life,m consider applying for an official position of some type!

We are top in science, second in commerce and size and 5th overall!!

Additionaly, because of our centralised location and strong millitary history, artillary operations in the area will be centerd in Thebes, which means jobs and money for us!!

War is on our doorstep and now we must all be glad of the huge artillary force we have camped out here!! Most info on the war is in the Asphinxian thread, but I would like to note that the Courthouse of Thebes may be sold to help finance the war effort. While this building does have a grand history, it's offical functions have all been passed over to the Forbidden Palace, which operates much of the court system throughout the province. The courthouse has been purchased by a private company in good standing that wishes to convert it into a museum. The official opening will not be for some time as our offical historian, Ehecatl Atzin is on an important mission to Greece.

We also made the top five in every category and did especially well in gold and science production.
