Codename Synrise
Here is a prev of the Swedish JAS 39 Gripen.
The model is done by Fredrik Alfredsson, with fantastic photorealism, and gave me his permission to use it.
Gripen is the first new-generation multi-role/swing-role fighter to enter service worldwide and combines high performence, outstanding maneuverability and fully integrated information and weapons systems for all air combat situations.
Offering an unrivalled mix of simplicity and sophistication to defeat all present and future threats, it is the world's most capable and cost-effective combat aircraft in operation today.
Fully integrated digital systems give Gripen the brainpower to use its strength to maximum effect, whether facing multiple airborne or ground targets or identifying hostile forces during a reconnaissance mission. And the world's most advanced datalink allows pilots to communicate real-time information with other units and ground control centers while remaining completely undetected by the enemy.
Gripen can carry a formidable array of air-to-air and air-to-surface precision engagement weapons. It benefits from a high performance radar plus low visual, radar, and infra-red signatures along with electronic countermeasures.
During an intercept Gripen pilots can engage multiple targets simultaneously with BVR missiles. In close combat, it out-maneuvers opponents thanks to its outstanding agility at all altitudes and speeds.
In service with the Swedish Air Force, which has ordered 204 aircraft, Gripen has also been selected to meet the national defense needs of South Africa (28 aircraft) and Hungary, which has a requirement for 14 aircraft.

PS. The image of the two Gripen fighters is no photo, its Fredriks render with a photo background.... I cant tell the difference!
This UNIT will no longer appear on this site. The progress will continue at CDG.
