Partners are wanted for a real estate company. Fanatika's FIRST partnership! The business model will be a home manufacturer and seller. The company will be able to build anything up to and including a small palace. The very low chance of selling anything larger than a small palace, plus the much higher startup costs to offer them, makes it a poor initial investment if those are included. The company will also buy and sell land and used homes/buildings to facilitate upgraders and businesses.
Pricing
The company will aim at pricing 10% better than the RPG official real estate thread. That is, we will sell at 10% less than the listed default prices. This pricing scheme should ensure that the company gets business over the NPC generic thread.
Profit Schedule
As the items this company will handle already have their pricing defined by an official thread, our costs are set at 25% of that on the official thread. This gives us a profit margin of 75%, a bit under the 80% we would expect if our product was not officially price defined. Because these are large ticket items, this lower profit margin will not be a great burden.

Partner Shares
There will be 25 partner shares at 1,000 each. Half shares are also available for 500g. If you have not started up a company yet you can use your free 1st company startup to acquire a full partner share. Voting for company actions will be factored by share count. Returns will be factored to 26 portions with 1 portion paid to each share and 1 portion to the company President (elected by the partners).
Shares will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. When all of the shares are gone no more partners will be accepted. You MUST have the cash available for the shares you purchase. If you are going to get a loan in order to increase your number of shares, you need to get the loan before you post the share reservation.
Starting Strong
I have been in negotiation with the RPG real estate manager. The company will be contracted to the government to provide startup housing for new citizens at a 10% discount below the list price. The houses have a list price of 400g. A 10% discount means we will sell them at 360g. Manufacturing cost and overhead is 100g. This puts the profit for each new startup house at 260g for the company. That's 10g per partner share every time we get a new citizen!

Cost for us to construct each house is 100g.

83 houses x 260g/house = 21,580g

You can buy multiple partner shares
Everybody starts out the game with 1,000g. That's one share. Everybody (even if they have absolutely no income over the basic 100g per chat) can get a loan for at least 1,200g from the bank. That's another share. If you have not started up a business yet you can use your free startup to acquire a partner share. That's another share! Many people will be able to get 3 shares with no problem. Most people will be able to get 2 shares. Everybody will be able to afford at least 1 share.
Save on your house upgrades
Partners will receive a 10% discount on home upgrades plus full value on returned properties. If you think you'll eventually be in a large home a single share now could save you a huge amount later.
Company Operations
Day to day running of the company will be done by the company President. Initially I will be functioning in this capacity. I will be setting up the company thread, handling the startup rigamarole, processing the first grand transaction and partner payout. When we are set up we will have a partner vote to determine who the President will be. The President does not have to be a partner. There is no salary for the President but they do earn commission on sales equivalent to a partner share. If a person who can do floorplans/blueprints is hired as President we may be able to normalize our price scheme to that of the official real estate thread (or even go higher) as we will be able to offer that value added service.
The President handles the day to day running of the company thread. The President may hold 10% of the company profits in an account for the company itself to allow for real estate purchases, company expansion, etc.
