The Bank of Valhalla provides banking and accounting services to private citizens and companies. Please note that all transactions must still be reported in the Fanatikan Revenue Service thread.
Services
Description of Services
Bank Account: The Bank of Valhalla will monitor the Fanatikan Revenue Association thread and keep an itemized and verified account of your purchases and earnings. This will be distributed one to two times per week.
Plus Account: As a normal bank account plus additional services are available for free or a reduced charge.
Savings Account: They cannot be used directly to buy items but can receive a regular deposit from a standard account. Funds are transfered to or from savings accounts each account update. Available only to Plus Account members.
Overdraft Protection: When an account is overdrawn but can still be covered by the amount in the savings account, those funds will be automatically transfered to cover the overdraft fee. There is a 25g charge for each usage.
Loans: Maximum loan amount is 50% of expected income. All loans are secured by player assets. Loan amount is 1.5% per chat for the course of the loan for Plus Account members, 2.5% for others. Specify the amount you wish to borrow and the number of chats you wish to take to repay the loan. Minimum payment per chat is 25g so the number of payments may be less than what you request. Loans above 50% of expected income are available at higher interest rates.
Stay Alive Service: Accounts normally go inactive if there has been no activity for more than 7 chats. Inactive accounts do not earn salary or automatic incomes (investitures, etc.). Members with this service will receive a registered transaction fee of 100g after 7 chats of inactivity. This fee will allow the account to stay active for 7 more chats.
Money Laundering Service: Accounts with this service will be drained completely, with all coinage being thoroughly scrubbed and all paper assets delicately dusted. The funds will then be placed in the account holder's savings account. The service occurs just before salaries are computed. The fee for this service is 25% of the salary gained as a side effect of the service.
