I have openned this seperate thread to solicit and collect feedback on the QSC game format as seen in the handyandy and "Irritated Mao" game threads.

Try to keep your comments and discussion about the actual games and game strategies in the appropriate game progress threads,

but I would like this thread to catch any comments and/or suggestions for players, alternates, lurkers, and spectators alike so we can use those inputs to recognize the high value components of the game format as well as work to address andt deficiencies that may be worth noting.

Thanks in advance,

cracker: I doubt this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but I'll chime in with a reaction from the point of view of a usually silent lurker (still working up the courage to jump in, I guess).
As such, I prefer the more standard succession game format. In particular, I miss the give-and-take that follows moves. Here, discussion seems less focussed on specific decisions/dilemmas. And the personalities of the various players does not emerge nearly so cleanly.
(Oh, and I also miss the screenies. :) )

I expect it's probably pretty instructive for those participating directly. But for spectators, it doesn't create linear plotline, I guess. (Either that or, more likely, I'm too confused to follow things. )

But hey, this specific brand of sc probably shouldn't be structured so as to amuse idle armchair types like myself anyway. Game on! :goodjob:
