Presidential Summary
...and all shall sing praise to mighty Fanatika...
Our valliant troops displayed amazing skill and courage, often attacking seemingly superior defenders, yet emerging victorious on many occasions.
Our combined northern forces first lay siege to Izibia, deep in the heart of our homeland. It took just about every unit we had in the area, but finally, when the smoke cleared, the flag of Fanatika flew high above the buildings in that town.
Then our troops marched on Pune and were successful in taking that town. Shortly thereafter, Chittagong fell, opening the way to Calcutta and the rich Incense fields nearby. Cavalry units in the mountains along the southeast border of Hafen Land, however, provided the stories worthy of legend.
Attacking fortified Musketmen in the city of Larsus, our Cavalry emerged victorious on the most part. They did suffer some casualties, but they managed to reduce the city's defenses to a drafted rifleman and the resulting damage from the fighting has reduced the city to a town, thereby increasing the odds of a successful next wave. Reinforcing Cavalry units are on the way as we speak, streaking across the hills near Pune on their way to Larsa to assist in this effort.
Cavalry scouting the mountains southwest of Kagoshima reported heavy fighting between Babylonian forces and the Iroquois in the town of Nagasaki. The Babylonians captured Nagasaki and held it for a brief stint. That is, until our forces arrived and liberated it from them. Troops from the assault on Larsa should be able to join up with these forces for a reasonable push on Ashur and other Babylonian prized cities.
The chat ended as a result of a flurry of new alliances and peace treaties between many of the nations involved in our western war. Talk was mentioned of signing an RoP with the French, but this deal was not signed as it is being put to the citizens to decide.
