Getting tired of these yet? Ok, I was the DP for this game, since, well, almost no one was at the turnchat at the start, and CG was eating dinner. :)

Anyway, What should we do with Ritchoffen?

Intelligence Agency
Rush what's left of Hoover
Army
Wait for the UN
Wait for Manhatten
Wait for SETI
Relocate the palace (as if that hasn't been shot down already)
Sacrifice him. :)

It would definately be beneficial to get some spies into Persia and Babylon. Well, beneficial to us in that it will help me plot their demise. ;)

Sacrafice to a doughnut? Nay, but I agree eith the Intelligence Agency.

What about a spy in America, too? It would benefit our capital some.

What is our estimated timeline for the next few Wonders?

Hoover - 7 turns
IA - 12 turns

Intelligence Agency is the way to go, although I would be liking some doughghnuts soon. ;)

That would waste 88 shields in Kyoto if we switched to the IA...
We've got lots of lakes and rivers, so many cities can build Hoover.

I must be the only person alive who sits back on GL's until I have an actual NEED for them, instead of using to build a wonder we can finish on our own just because it's there...

Oh well, time to play devil's advocate. I suggest we finish Hoover and IA under our own power, and keep the GL for either SETI or UN. I doubt we're going to win a UN victory, but it's still nice to have, and SETI would be helpful if placed in the proper city. Manhattan is, IMHO, a waste, and we shouldn't even bother considering it. Let someone else build it, and we'll get our first nuke before they do. :)

Contrariwise, it will save hundreds of shields and give us both wonders immediately. How many more shields would need to be invested to build Hoover in Kyoto?

Sacrifice 88 shields now instead of pumping a few hundred more shields into something we can have right away.

This is true. It will get us both wonders next turn.

Great point, Shaitan. I agree.

I say we build an army of Infantry. Let him set around for a while, then BANG! We have a Defence Extrordanaire!

We don't have infantry yet. If we use Richtoffen to create an army I would park it somewhere and wait to fill it with panzers.

Of course, I wouldn't use it to create an army at all. I'd go for the "two wonders now" option.

Yes, let's get the wonders while we can. At this stage of the game, a substantial edge this turn snowballs into a big advantage in five or ten turns.

Hmmm . . . has anyone ever tried to SELL a GL???

Just kidding.

@Shaitan.

I know we dont have Infantry yet, thats why I said let him wait for a while, then BANG.

I think somebody should propose changing our laws to stipulate that the DP must use Chieftess' computer at every turn chat. She's just too lucky. ;)
