MAG province instructions:

Shimoneski: Cavalry (1), Infantry (6), University (7)
The infantry is to be garrisoned in the city. The next citizen of Shimoneski is to be placed on the square marked 'X.'

Novgorod: Aqueduct (80-something turns)

New Ise: Library (for culture, so whales can be reached)
New Ise only needs a maximum of THREE mined mountains.

Bizen: Cavalry (4), Factory (22), continuous military units.

Hakodate: Continuous military units (already set up in the city's queue)
Hakodate should have a maximum of FOUR mined mountains in it's city radius, as the rest would not be used.

The three priorities are marked in BLUE NUMBERS on the map attached. Worker instructions are also present, marked with RED LETTERS. Remember not to mine too many mountains!

Foreign Affairs

Please continue trying to place a spy in Babylon.

Call up Xerxes and laugh at him because he has only one cavalry unit and seven immortals for offense. ;)

Bangalore-courthouse (74)(C), aqueduct (100), Barracks (20)

I would like the worker to clear the jungle directly one square east of Bangalore (C)(8 turns). Then mine it. Then clear the jungle one square NE of Bangalore.

Okay, here's the queue.

Bombay - Courthouse (please rush) - Granary - Worker - Worker

Calcutta - University - Barracks - Artillery - Artillery

Lahore - Marketplace - Barracks - University

Minas Alcar - Granary - Worker - Worker - University

Sorry CG, but... Anyway, the improvements in order according to priority are: 1) RR Mountain NW of Minas Alcar. (in progress) 2) Mine hill SE of Minas Alcar. (in progress) 3) Road hill SE of Minas Alcar. 4) Mine a hill NW of Calcutta. 5) Irrigate the plains directly west of Lahore. 6) Mine, then road a hill within the city radius of Lahore. Thats all folks... And by golly, move those wokers around Bombay to NP!

EDIT: Forgot about this. Please move a laborer in Minas Alcar from a grassland to the mountain.

EDIT 2: OMG! Turnchat at 10 PM EST, and 3 AM GMT! That's crazy! Reasoning please?

Domestic
See the Budget Office for rush funds. Basically, the military's rifle and cannon upgrades take precedence. The courthouse in Bombay is approved if we aren't poor when the military is done. I'll leave that up to you to decide.

Keep all qeues as-is. I believe Chieftess (Deputy Governor) will post the orders of Governor Stuck_as_a_Mac while he is away. If not, I will pass along his orders.

Please institute the following name changes for the cities of Quellewasser:

Nagasaki = Grüner Hügel

Fukushima = Gebirgssenke

Chittagong = Hohenweisse

Pune = Zwischenholz

Larsa = Schönverläss

Jaipur = Rasenblume

Yrs,

Langrave Feodor Ardent of Quellewasser
Deputy Minister for Military Affairs
Colonel General of the Fanatiker-Heer
Major General of Volunteers
Master Emeritas of the Guilds Textile

:borg: Budget Authority: All of the rushes below, except as noted, have already been approved by the budget office.

:borg: Military Authority: All military movements have been authorized by the DMA executive staff in collaboration with the Governer's Provincial Defence Office.

:borg: Domestic Authority: There is a need for more workers from the Federal pool in the province, and any who can be spared and assigned to Quellewasser should be undertaking improvements to improve food production. Secondary priority is to insure that we have rail links to or close to all nearby Iroquois cities.

Grüner Hügel
------ Queue: switch to courthouse immediately and rush, turn, then granary, rushing on second turn, then marketplace, rush on fourth turn. All of these rushes were approved by the budget office and all of these improvements should have happened last TC!
------ Garrison: Upgrade all units as per the budget office authorization. Send everything except two infantry and the army (using the “go to” command) to Lagash. By the time they get there some will have thought of a use for them. The staff of the army training command should entertain the American officers from up on the mountain and encourage them to defect.

Schönverläss
------ Queue: switch to University, ask budget to rush on second turn. Then queue up cathedral-factory-bank, probably followed by a hospital by the time the factory is finished.
------ Garrison: upgrade units, send all but two infantry to Lagash.

Zwischenholz
------ Queue: granary – marketplace - university
------ Garrison: remove all garrison units and send them to Lagash. Upgrade along the way if possible. If the Iroquois launch an attack here, we can trap and destroy him rather easily.

Rasenblume
------ Queue: courthouse – temple – granary – marketplace. On third turn, ask budget for a rush.
------ Garrison: upgrade the garrison to infantry and artillery, fortify, glower at the Iroquois scouts out on the prairie.

Gebirgssenke
------ Queue: temple – marketplace - university.
------ Garrison: upgrade units. Move one infantry to Mount Plexenburg to guard the railroad. Move another to the mountain tile directly WNW of the city to screen against an incursion from Suo. Sent artillery to Lagash.

Hohenweisse
------ Queue: ask budget to rush courthouse on second turn, then queue temple – marketplace – barracks – university – factory.
------ Garrison: none needed. Please send troops to Grüner Hügel, upgrade, and then offer them to the high command for reassignment.

Yrs,

Langrave Feodor Ardent of Quellewasser

Micromanagement:

Tarkingrad - Place the unworked grassland laborer onto the gold mountain.

Penguin - Place a coastal tile on a forest tile.

Priorities:

1 - Irragated and rail the grassland 1 N-NW of Strider's Haven. This will give us enough food to place one on a forest upon growth. Feel free to send a foreign worker (Indian) to build onto Strider's Haven. This will get it up to 30spt after corruption.

Chat Log

I was planning to find out if these later chats could work. They won't...

We will likey go back to the ol' Wed evening, Sat morning schedule.

As for the actual chat, a major trade scandel rocked Fanatika, when a reckless President forgot to contact some major foreign powers. This resulted in a few fewer gpt than expected.
A majority of the workers in the Gem Mountains were removed from the area, and distributed all over the kingdom.
A new spy was sucessfully planted inside Hammurabi's Palace. Initial intelligence shows that the mainstray of the Babylonian offensive forces are a small number of longbows. Unfortunately, these longbows were able to defeat some cavalry in the Ur area.
Lastly, a large majority of rifles have been upgraded. The last part of turn 1 was spent shuffling units around for upgrade. The only rifles not upgraded were those actively participating in the Babylonian Assualt.
