Some people dislike multi-figure units. Nontheless, there are some units that just can't be made without having two figures in them.
One of these is Pike & Shot formations as used in the 16th & 17th centuries....
(The shadows and smoke can't been seen in this preview, but they can in the game)

(Please note that I have not included any sound waves with this unit.
I suggest copying the existing Musketman ones into this folder, or creating your own links in the attached ini.file)
Another two figure unit is the American B-17 "Escorted Bomber" of WW2....

(The Mustang escort fighter was created by hot rod, and has been slightly altered and adapted)
Suggested Stats For The Escorted Bomber
------------------------------------------
The same as a normal Civ3 bomber, but with a defence slightly larger than the attack factor of a Civ3 Fighter.
This reflects the problems enemy fighters had: not only must they dogfight the escorts, but the bomber's own machine guns as well.
Additionaly, I suggest that this unit does not replace the standard bomber, but is instead a later upgrade.
There is also a 4 figure version (with two bombers & two fighters) in the Multi-Figure Units Forum.
(I wasn't sure if these two really count as 'new units'.
But the multi-figure version of the Tercio, when I finish it, will have 8 figures....4 pikemen & 4 musketmen....and the MF version of the Escorted Bomber has 4 aircraft.
So two figure units are somewhere in between)

Later Edit:
--------
Wyrmshadow has requested that I also post the silver B17 looking bomber all on it's own, without the escort.
Rather than start a new thread, I have posted it here, along with some civilopeadia pictures.
