Pffft. Figures. Once again, WinZip fails me. CG, would you consider putting up the save itself up instead of the zip? It's only 5 percent larger. In the meantime, would anyone be kind enough to send me the save at wizatmath@aol.com.

FA instructions:
As stated in the absence thread, my internet access will be limited to none for an indefinite period of time hopefully not exceeding a couple of days. Here are my instructions:

Treaties: Do not sign or break any treaties (Peace Treaty, ROP, MA) this turnchat.

Embassies: No embassy construction this turn. I attempted discussion on it, but nobody responded.

City investigations: Investigate Byblos and Heliopolis at some point during the turnchat if this poll on investigation passes, and post screenshots of each city radius.

War Declarations: Do not declare war on any country this turnchat. If any troops are told to move off another country's territory, you are to do so. If war is declared on us, sign no treaties or alliances during this particular turnchat. I strongly advise you to stop the chat if this is the case.

Tribute Demands:

Reject a tribute demand if:
-More than 50 gold or 3 gold per turn is demanded
-A technology not believed to be known by other civs is demanded
-A resource or luxury is demanded
-A world map plus more than 20 gold or 1 gold per turn is demanded.
-England demands tribute
-Egypt demands tribute and it can be determined that we are ready for war.

If a tribute demand does not violate any of these guidelines, accept it.

Any New Musketmen should be evenly distrubted among River Crossing, Memphis, Omalu, and New Jedina.

Any New Knights built should be stationed in Omalu in case of a need to launch a counter-offensive.

here are last weeks:

South Bootia: Switch to courthouse (request Rush), Library, Aqueduct

DePaolo: switch to Courthouse (Request Rush), Caravel.

PDXIII: Switch to courthouse (Request Rush), Temple, Library

Shaitan: Switch to courthhouse (Request Rush), Temple, Library

Malvern Hill: Temple (Request Rush), Courthouse (Request Rush)

since we only played 8 turns, they should all be still good. Temple rushes at Cold Harbor and Malvern Hill have been approved.

The only changes to last week's queues are that two workers are to be built after each improvement is finished, e.g. Bootia would be Aqueduct, Worker x2, Granary, Worker x2, Courthouse, worker x2. Obviously if the city is size 1 and wont grow soon enough, just go straight to the next improvement, skipping the workers.
 
Please carry out the following trades during preturn:

(Fanatica) Metallurgy <-> WM + 82gpt + 112g (China)

Trade metallurgy to persia for their WM and the highest amounts of gpt and gold up-front that they are prepared to part with.


Every turn:

Check to see whether any of the AI civs has a luxury or new tech available to trade. If a luxury does become available, offer the owning Civ metallurgy in exchange for it but do not offer them anything more if that is not sufficient.
If a new tech becomes available, stop the chat.


Renew the following deals on turn 5 as follows:

(Fanatica) Wines + Dyes <-> Ivory (Germany)

If Germany will not accept this deal, add Metallurgy to our side and then check to see whether they'll add any gpt or gold up-front to their end. Accept the highest offer they can make.


(Fanatica) Iron + Horses + Dyes <-> Silks (England)

Add Education to our side of the deal and, if that is not enough, add gunpowder also.

If either of these deals cannot be renegotiated on this turn, do so on the next turn, but do not just wait for them to be cancelled.
 
Maintain science at highest rate which keeps the negative gpt less than -50gpt (meaning -40gpt is ok, -60 is too much) except that if two percentages give the same turns to complete, take the lowest such percentage. Two turns before a tech is researched, try to lower the slider such that two turns is maintained, and again when one turn is remaining try to reduce to the lowest level which produces one turn. The turn after a tech is researched, raise science slider based on the -50gpt limit. If the treasury drops to 500g, then switch to -20gpt as the limit.

Cash rush for temples in Malvern Hill and Cold Harbor are approved. Rush of Aqueduct in Nafstac is not approved, it would not improve our growth potential. If laborers can be setup in Nafstac to allow growth shortly after the aqueduct completes, please do so if it does not conflict with governor's instructions.

Workers may be joined to cities which are capable of growing to size 12 at the same rate at which they are produced in other towns, provided the tiles the new laborer would work have already been improved. If there are tiles remaining to be improved in the vicinity, complete improvements before joining workers. Reserve a force of at least 20 workers (more is OK) for when steam power is researched.
