FA Instructions
Treaties: Do not sign or break any treaties (Peace Treaty, ROP, MA, MPP, Trade Embargo) this turnchat.

Embassies: No embassy construction this turn.

City investigations: Investigate Thebes at the end of this turnchat, just prior to the end of the chat. This is to view their final troop strength just prior to invasion.

War Declarations: Do not declare war on any country this turnchat. If any troops are told to move off another country's territory, you are to do so. If war is declared on us, sign no treaties or alliances during this particular turnchat. I strongly advise you to stop the chat if this is the case. However, I would like to note that war is imminent with Egypt and will probably be declared in the preturn of the turnchat after this one. Please coordinate with the Military Leader to make final war plans.

Tribute Demands:

Reject a tribute demand if:
-More than 100 gold or 6 gold per turn is demanded (this is an increase over previous instructions)
-A technology not believed to be known by other civs is demanded
-A resource or luxury is demanded
-England demands tribute
-Egypt demands tribute and the general consensus of the chatroom is that we are prepared for war.

If a demand does not violate these guidelines, please ask for the majority opinion of people in the chat, by spot vote or general consensus, and act on that.

Also, other instructions from leaders posted in the other turnchat thread are valid, right?

EDIT: Queues have been edited to include an astonishing 25 Cavalry (!) being built in 9 cities.
 
Move Legions in Memphis, Omalu, New Jedina, and Elephantine to River Crossing.

Take Cavalry in Noshuret to Memphis and move all other Cavalry, including those in transit to Omalu and stationed there to Memphis instead.

Make sure that current worker actions adjacent to the Egyptian border is finished before the end of the Turn Chat so we can move them back and ensure their saftey during the duration of this war.

Please upgrade the Spearmen in River Crossing, Memphis, Elephantine, New Jedina, Lake Asphinxia, and Aureus. Which should be a total of 6 Muskets, and make sure they are stationed in any of the 4 Major Egyptian border cities (Memphis, River crossing, New Jedina, or Omalu). DO NOT move these Units until the replacement Garrisons arrive or are within 1 turn of reaching the city, with no Foreign units in the immediate vacinity of the city.

To Replace the Garrisons at Aureus and Lake Aphixia take Legions from Penguinadua, malvern Hill and other distant cities if neccisary.
 
Sliders
Adjustments should be made after any gpt and lux trades are concluded. If trade carries through with the ones that were discussed, we will be getting 1-3 additional lux.

If lux slider is >0 (don't recall offhand) and lowering it does not reduce the number of 100% happy cities (WLTKD) or put anyone on the brink of disorder, then it can be lowered to the lowest level for which this is true.

Maintain science as high as possible within the range -10gpt to +50gpt, or on the + side if it can't be kept in the range. This is a change from last session, we are spending gold on upgrades so the minus side buffer needs to be smaller.

Edit: forgot to include the standing instruction: when adjusting Science, if more than one % value gives the same number of turns, set the lower number. Adjust downwards if possible 2 turns and 1 turn before completing research to the lowest value which remains 2 and 1 turn respectively.

Budget
Upgrade of 6 spears as requested by Military is approved.

Previous instructions were to not upgrade regular knights. If we have any regular knights remaining which are not needed for garrison, they can be upgraded to a total of 200g if the Military Dept concurs.

If requested, cash rush of Aqueducts is approved up to 100g each or total of 300g, whichever comes first, as long as the requesting city is at least size 5 and capable of further growth.

Railroad
As noted elsewhere, please make railroading of all worked tiles in cities designated as wonder producers (Gorina first) as a top worker task priority.

Recommendations
Position one unit near the Egyptian source of saltpeter in preparation for pillaging it, if this does not conflict with the Military instructions.

As seen above by Domestic, aquaduct cashrushes are allowed.
I like to ask for cashrush the aquaduct in North Shore (currently on marketplace, but needs an aquaduct). It has +3 food, capable of fast growing to size 12 due to 7 coast tiles (0s, 2f, 3t) and some irrigated grasslands. Furthermore it has several mountain tiles if we need shields.

The cost is 256 gold; I know it is too much, but I like you to consider it and I like Domestic to consider.

Instruction Klixus-Major
KM has an unneeded Elvis and an unneeded Einstein. Please put them to work on the tiles seen in below picture:

It seems we have a spelling error. It's not Aqualondë, but Alqualondë. Please change this ASAP.

Mr. President, I had the unpleasurable surprise after last turnchat that Klixus-Major was building cavalry although I hadn't put one in the buildqueue. Please refrain from diverting from Esquiline's buildqueues; as the VP I do not like to call for a PI because of such a thing.

Pay attention to Klixus-Major. Once it's Elvis and Einstein are working the land it has +5 food and grows fast. It might go to disorder. Check this please.

Gingerbread Man is having problems logging into the forums. I recieved the following instructions from him via e-mail.

Bootia, South Bootia, Yet another City, Gingerbread City: finish current item, then
switch to a suitable military unit, Preferably cavalry as soon as we can get them
(If we cant already)
As for all other cities:
one shielder cities - continue building workers, try to make 10 turn worker factories.
two or more shielders: Build courthouse if not done already. Set them to a military
unit that will take less than 15 turns to complete If the city cannot complete
military units in under 15 turns then they need to be better improved, so cycle
between workers and any possible growth improvements, e.g. worker, Granary, worker,
Aqueduct, etc
and please, get some irrigation up from cold harbour to the top of the province.
 
One other thing...this isn't so much an instruction as a request, and this is more military than FA, but I'd like you to follow it anyway...please stop the chat immediately (after investigating Thebes, of course) if we reach the "magic number" of 30 cavalry and 10 muskets during this chat, as we will need to discuss final preparations for war and post final war polls at that time.
