Tons of new info have been added to the <a href="http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3infocenter.shtml">Civilization III Info Center</a>. For instance, the Wonders of the World section now has 2 tables lisiting all the Wonders in Civ3, their benefits, attributes, as well as prerequisites for Small Wonders. Some obsolete info such as bronze as a strategic resource and Zone of Control have been removed from the <a href="http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3infocenter.shtml">Info Center</a>.

Let me know if you see any error in the Info Center. :)

Which of the Great Wonders do you think correspond to an expansionist civilization? It's kinda weird to assign those 6 civilization attributes to Wonders. ..

It looks like religious, commerical, and/or scientific civs can have Golden Ages more easily because there are more of those Wonders... :p

I could be wrong - me wrong? - but I remember reading about the ironworks small wonder allowing steel as a stregic reasource. It makes sense since steel is carbon and iron.

I could be wrong, but i tougth that the wonder Pentagono was a small one, and in the info center showed as a great wonder...

I think Leonardo's Workshop should also be Industrious or Commercial. It halves updgrade cost and thus saves money. Something an Commercial civ would like.

King Richard's Crusade Religious & Industrious or Expansionist rather then Militaristic IMO. Extra shields = extra production = Industrious. Or Expansionist because a crusade takes ppl far away...

Art of War, Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty & Women's Suffrage could be Expansionist. No particular reasons here.

Hanging Gardens is a though one. Maybe Industrious. It has the way it looks in it's name Hanging Gardens instead of "Great Gardens", "Gardens of ..." etc. Maybe because the way it looked was something special because it was never seen before so it would be the first time something like that was build and thus a masterpiece of engineering = Industrious :goodjob:

You are probably right. I was not sure that one. Now I put Pentagon in the Small Wonders table and moved Great University to the Great Wonders table. It makes more sense this way.

Anyone know the benefit of the Pentagon?

A cultural victory can occur if one of your cities amasses 20,000 culture points, or if your entire empire amasses at least 100,000 culture points and no rival civ has more than half of your cultural value.

But the table below seems to show that a single city's borders expand to a radius of 6 at 100,000 culture, and notes that that is the point where cultural victory is acheived. That table has been there for a while, so perhaps the numbers have since been tweaked by Firaxis?

This is a not very interesting topic that no one cares about so Im upset that tf has once again made it a sticky just cos it's his: get over yourself TF - stop making all your topics sticky its plain annoying especially when they are rubbish topics like this one

(please dont ban me, please!)

I am sorry to hear that you don't care about the update. I make it sticky because I would like people to take a look at it and point out any error they see. Rest assured this thread will only be sticky for 1 day.

You need to know that sticky threads are intended as information/news thread. They are NOT intended to be fun.

Dudez, where's the Love?

We should be united, not flaming one another! :rocket2:

Civ3 is almost here! REJOICE! [dance]

If that is flaming you've obviously not been going to offtopic

This is a prime example of what a boreing poster you are. All you do is ga around and either spam up a thread or make totally absurb and uncalled for remarks such as this one.

Oh and BTW have you ever heard the expression "bites the hand that feeds him"

Oh yeah what i came to this thread for in the first place...

Please fix the grammer in the info center here are two sample paragraphs:

GL can also indirectly cause the building of "Military Academy", which allow you to build army without a GL. In order to do that, your GL have to form an army, then the army have to win a battle.
In order to build an army, GL have to go back one of your city; then transform to an army unit, which is like a transport unit, you can load units in it. But once it leave the city it be created, you can't swap/change units from this army.

Thanx -spy

I think there are many grammar errors like the ones u mentioned. Lots of info in the info center were taken directly from Firaxians' posts, and some of them don't really care about grammar when they post messages (not u, Dan) . ;) I'll fix some of the errors soon. :egypt:

its probably just me, but is there some reason why i can never open the links such as "Editor screen" or "Player Setup Choices Screen" or any of the other red/blue ones...???
