Maybe Civ4 could have a music folder that allows you to add your own music. I like the music provided in civ3, but it would be nice to have the option to customize it a bit. Maybe they could even add a special slot for a national anthem that plays after revolutions and on the diplomacy screen. I am thinking mostly of multiplayer for this one, since the ai probably doesn't care what your National Anthem is.

What does everyone else think?

It should be easy to implement and should not cause anyone to become unhappy, now would it? I say it is a "yea".

Would be even better if it had a subfolder for "wartime" where you can put music that gets higher priority during war. I also like the idea of victory music, that should get it's own subfolder as well.

I like the way music evolves as you become more advanced in Civ3. I think you should get bonus music if you research music theory, or if you build JS Bach's cathedral. I say you should not be able to acces your MP3s in a custom folder until you research computers.

I LOVE this idea.

I always have a CD ready to play Mars: The Bringer of War when my CIV goes to war.

The National Anthem idea is great too.

When I play the Russians, I have the Hymn of the Soviet Union ready to play when I achieve victory over my enemies.
