1000 Clues You Play Civ IV Too Much

,.too bad a great person like him just been killed by our first national hero Lapu-Lapu in the Battle of Mactan..:mischief:

His crew made it, though. I always prove my history teachers wrong when they ask "Who was the first man to circumnavigate the globe?" To which someone responds "Magellan?" And he says no, it was Drake. But that's wrong; Magellan's crew made it :p

This brings up another reason: 3026) You think it would have been much easier for Magellan to just trade maps with the natives instead of going all the way around the earth; He wouldn't have even had to go to American, just contact them.

.,during the battle, it was unfortunate of them that they can't even bombard with their galleon nor their cannons can't do amphibious assault..
..but hey, they still have muskets..

You think it was RNG based that made the advanced musketmen lose to defending archers and spearmen.:D

Maybe they were influenced by Toku and just wouldn't trade anything.

3028) You know that there were no fully complete maps of the world until 1957 and then only for the Russians, the USA had to wait till next turn.

3029) You wonder how the Soviets got those maps since their 1957 Sputniks had no cameras.

Correct, and ever one knows Japan always settles the Philippines...

3032) When your history teacher described the consequences of the Patriot act and Obamacare, you thought that there was a turn of anarchy coming up from switching to state property and police state.

Obamacare wasn't a switch to State Property, it was the President of America building hospitals in all the cities.

It was more closely a switch to state property. ObamaCare doesn't build new hospitals, but limits the growth of them and generalizes all the health care plans. Also implementing a tax on everyone not with health care. And a whole bunch of other crap that has nothing to do with health care.

Please don't turn this into a politics rant guys...

So, er, every other Western state (circa all of which have higher life expectancy than the USA, incidentally [1]) is at State Property?

Please don't turn this into a politics rant guys...

I think my hypocrisy-meter just exploded.

[1] Before you say it, my source here is that well known socialist propaganda organ, the CIA World Factbook.

3033: You enjoy a CFC discussion concerning what Obamacare is in game terms.

3034) You refuse to accept the possibility of global warming; last time I checked, deserts haven't started popping up all over the United States!

3035) You find fears of any middle eastern country obtaining a nuclear weapon ridiculous because we have already signed a Non-Proliferation Treaty, which means that no one can possibly build any type of nuclear weapon.

3036) When the Marine Corps Anthem plays and you hear, "From the halls of Montezuma.." you think that the Aztecs declared war on America.

3037: ...and you know that "to the shores of Tripoli" refers to the Barbary pirates, who you now can only picture as Privateers.

3038: That's because only two nuclear weapons have ever been used.

and

3039: You don't think nuclear weapons require testing. They get built... and they work fine. The end.
