To make a list, click the list button above the reply text box in the reply to topic screen, and then press 1 if you want a numbered list or press a for a letter list, or press nothing in that window at first and then click cancel to have a bulleted list. However I often just type a list manually; it's easier and doesn't really look ugly or anything. Here's a "correct" list:

258 - You throw a temper tantrum if the GOTM does not have it's new game posted at 12:01 AM on the first day of the month.

259 - You knock yourself into a coma because you have no idea what else to do when the civfanatics forum goes down.

260 - You belong to at least 3 different civ3 forums.
