14 requests for new small mods

Please comment below if any of you know that any of these suggestions would be impossible or difficult to accomplish. I will update the list accordingly

So, I have several components I would like to see in mods (since it would take me a while to learn how to make them myself). Just please try to upload them to the Civilization V workshop on steam so I can download them easily.

1. I would like a new UA for France. It should be "+2 Tourism per turn from cities after discovering Civil Service. Increases to +4 after discovering acoustics. All Units have the Foreign Lands promotion, strengthening them outside of your territory”. Feel free to get more creative with the combat bonus, I am at a loss for what would be a good combat bonus besides that. All I know is that since Napoleon is their leader, they MUST have some sort of combat bonus.

2. I would like to modify the unique Zulu promotions. Buffalo Chest will lose the 10% combat strength in open terrain, instead gains +25% defense (or somewhere around there). Buffalo Horns Grants a 15% Flanking Boost. Buffalo Loins Loses the 10% combat strength and gains 30% combat bonus against wounded units. NONE OF THESE WILL BE ABLE TO UPGRADE TO EACH OTHER ANYMORE. THEY WILL INSTEAD BE CHOSEN BETWEEN WHEN A UNIT IS TRAINED IN A CITY WITH AN IKANDA. Also, they cannot be applied to ranged and/or naval units.

3. I would like the Satrap's Court UB for Persia changed from a Bank replacement (Which makes little sense to me) into a Courthouse replacement. The Persians were, based on what I know of history, not cruel conquerors, and this version of the Satrap's Court would focus on integration and rebuilding of the cities and people. This Satrap's Court as a Courthouse replacement would cost 2 maintenance and grant 2 happiness & 2 food. It would also have a lower production cost.

4. I would like to see most of the science buildings (Great Library, National College, University, Observatory, and Research Lab) nerfed so that they do not cause anyone who does not prioritize writing and philosophy to just fall into obscurity. I would rather see the percentage boosts of National Colleges, Universities, Observatories, and Research labs replaced with low flat science boosts. Also, maybe reduce the bonus that Universities give to Jungle to just +1 science per jungle.

5. I would like to see the Ceilidh Hall moved to replace the Amphitheater instead of the Opera House.

6. I would like the Mayan Pyramid moved to be a Temple replacement that gives +3 faith and +2 science, and it has 1 scientist specialist slot.

7. I would like the Netherlands to have additional function on their UA, maybe that they would gain boosted range on their sea trade routes, as well as bonus science from sea trade routes.

8. I would like Babylon to gain a replacement UA that grants them maybe a 10% production boost when constructing buildings, and have their palace gain 1 scientist slot upon discovery of Writing, and another upon discovery of Education.

9. I would like the “+1 Culture from Fishing Boats” on the Japanese UA converted to “+1 Culture from Sea Resources”.

10. I would like to see “25% reduction to production cost of siege units” added to the Ottoman UA.

11. Assyria will have double quantities of Iron.

12. I would like the Egyptian Burial Tomb strengthened slightly, as it is too weak when you look at the disadvantage it gives. Maybe it gives +1 culture and +1 additional happiness as well.

13. I would like to see the March promotion added to the Roman Legion.

14. I would like it so that for every world wonder built in a city, it will then cost 10% more to build other wonders in that city.

15. I would like to see the Ethiopian UA changed to “The Lion of Judah”, which is as follows (Credit to DMS’ Ethiopian Civilizations pack): Whenever you adopt a social policy, retain 10% of the culture expended. Retain an additional 5% culture for every civ you know that has adopted that policy, up to 25%. Recieve a World Congress delegate for every Ideological tenet of level 2 or 3 you have adopted.

16. The Shoshone will have double horse resources.

17. Ethiopia's Stele will be nerfed to provide 1 less faith, but +1 production.

18. Rome will gain “+2 gold for each City Connection” added to their UA. (credit to Cookie)

19. Persia will gain “Golden Ages are extended upon capturing a city” added to their UA.

20. Portugal gains “Trade route gold bonus from Caravansaries and Harbors are doubled” added to their UA. (credit to Cookie)

21. China’s UA is changed to “Mandate of Heaven” which reads thusly: “Can purchase all units and buildings with Faith after founding a Religion. 50% discount on Faith Cost of Buildings. Gain a Faith boost whenever you adopt a social policy”. (These faith boosts are +5 for the first policy, increasing by +5 for each policy purchase. Once you complete your first policy tree, it begins to increase by +10 per policy purchase)

22. The Maya will gain “+15% Great Person points” added to their UA. (credit to Cookie)

23. The Inca will gain “All units have combat bonuses in rough terrain” added to their UA. (credit to Cookie)

23a. The Inca will gain “Units can cross mountains after researching Construction” added to their UA.

24. Morocco will gain “+1 food from farms on desert tiles. +1 gold from Oases” added to their UA (The farms bonus does not include farms on Flood Plains)

25. Arabia will gain “+1 food from farms on desert tiles” added to their UA (This does not include Flood Plains)

26. Farms cannot be built on Desert tiles without access to fresh water.

27. Farms cannot be built on Snow tiles.

28. Sheep cannot spawn on Desert tiles (regardless of Hills).

29. I would like the Moroccan UA numerically improved, maybe giving it +4 gold and +2 culture per trade route with a unique civ.

30. I would like America to gain 50% decreased culture costs of acquiring new tiles and, upon discovery of the Printing Press technology, gain “+50% Great Person points. Double quantity of Aluminum” onto their UA (Credit to Wyoguy).

Modifications of Mods (If you dare to go this far):
Barbarian Immersion Enhancements by Leugi- Remove Barbarian Generals.

Social Justice by Elotar- Change “Mandate of Heaven” policy to give +2 science and +2 production to Temples; Finishing Bonus from Piety tree gives 2 free Missionaries; “Professional Army” policy to give 2 free Spearman units and give a 15% discount to the production cost of training land units; “Discipline” policy to give only 1 free Archer unit alongside the other bonus; Grant the “Choose a free great Person” finish bonus from the Liberty tree to the Patronage tree to replace the free Great Engineer; Finishing Bonus from Liberty tree changes to granting +1 gold from all specialists and providing a free Manor in all cities you found other than your original capital (These are miniature Palaces, each providing 1 gold, 1 science, and 1 Great Work of Art slot); “Legalism” policy changes to “Provides a free Amphitheater in your first four cities”; “Maritime Infrastructure” policy instead provides +2 production in all coastal cities; "Humanism" policy instead provides +4 science to all universities; "Military Tradition" policy gives +1 food to Fortresses instead of Citadels.

DustJockey’s Russia Revised by DustJockey- I would like Russia to gain “+50% science towards technologies known to other civs you know of” added to their UA (Credit to JFD). Also, DustJockey’s Russia ability needs to be changed to providing +2 food, +2 production, and 1 free border expansion during We Love the King Day (Border expansion happens at the onset).

Unique Trait Collection by framedarchitecture- I would like Germany's ability to start out as Furor Teutonicus (with a 75% chance), then Realpolitik is added to it upon discovery of Chivalry. Germany also has double quantities of coal.

Persian Clibanarii by Vojuln- Give Clibanarii valuable promotions. (Keep in mind that one of my mods, amongst it's numerous other effects, increases the strength of Horsemen to 16).

Mongolian Yam by Vojuln- Remove resource requirement.

Indonesian Wayang by Vojuln- Add a Great Work of Music slot instead of a Great Work of Writing slot.

3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 14, part of 2 (e.g. 10% strength --> 25% defense), and part of 5 (remove percentage bonuses) are extremely easy.

1, 12, 13 and part of 2 (random promotion upon being trained in an ikanda) are doable and aren't particularly hard, but they're considerably more involved on the modder's side than you think.

9 and part of 2 (adding a button to be able to transfer HP to another unit) are way, way harder than you think. Technically doable, but absurdly complicated.

4 and part of 5 (Great Library can only research ancient techs) are impossible without a DLL mod.

I used to do small mods like this but I also don't upload to the Steam Workshop, so if you refuse in advance to download them anywhere else then I can't help you there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
 
I think these are excellent changes; no promises but I might do this.
