Your gun is no match for my trout

touche........

I'm still firmly holding aloft my "return to division based playoffs" sign.

I finally switched to my Habbie avatar.

On a side note, has edmonton traded there first draft? Else they have the fourth pick this year and many good prospects are on the list. Not everything is lost :p

Looks like the Islanders are going to win today, which means that the finish to the season will be even more exciting.

Yes. Yes it does. Mr. Bettman, tear down those East-West walls and rank playoffs teams from 1 to 16 so that we could potentially see the Habs and the Leafs in the Cup's finals. (Of course, you'd need both teams to qualify, but that's another story althogether.)

Agreed, we should definitely go back to this. I hate seeing teams miss the playoffs due solely to the fact that they were in the tougher Conference.

Wow. Ryder just single-handedly changed the face of the game with that hat trick :-D.

(Huet has been doing his job, though)

EDIT : What is it with the Canadiens and ignoring the rulebook whenever they can?

(Though on the Koivu penalty, I wasn't aware the Maple Leafs trained with the Italy Soccer Team. Koivu deserved the penalty, mind, but the ML player forced a bit on the falling part)

EDIT II : Well, good game for Toronto. The Canadiens gave them a golden chance to get back in the game, and Toronto didn't make that mistake.

Now we have to wait and see if the Islanders can win against a team with nothing at stake.

Division teams always like to keep one another out of the playoffs. The sport is irrelevant.

All I have to say: Go Islanders!

It really seems like they gave up after Colorado got eliminated. After all, it's not like it was going to matter.

I'm still waiting for Rhymes to change his signature. :mischief:

I have to say that it was painful to cheer for the Leafs yesterday, and that it will be painful to cheer for the Isles tomorrow. The worse will be if Yashin scores the winning goal.

Go Ted Nolan!

Damn referees.
