Just wonder...
I made a quick experiment, just for fun, but the result looks surprisingly interesting.
I've autoplayed a game with logging on, then I fed the log of the first 50 turns to ChatGPT, asking it to develop a story from the log. This is the result:

Once upon a time, in the year 4000 BC, a small tribal village discovered an abundance of gold. This newfound wealth brought prosperity to the village, and they decided to establish a city called Xianyang. The villagers were eager to expand their knowledge, dedicating all their efforts to research, with nine units of progress per turn.
Their first research projects were focused on two important discoveries: the wheel and pottery. These advancements would revolutionize their society and pave the way for future progress. Meanwhile, the villagers also began training warriors to protect their growing city.
As time went by, Xianyang continued to thrive. Research and development became the primary focus, with the villagers steadily accumulating knowledge and improving their technological capabilities. They also established contacts with neighboring civilizations, making alliances and fostering diplomatic relations.
The village's progress was not without its challenges. They encountered hostile barbarians and engaged in battles to defend their territory. The warriors of Xianyang fought bravely, sometimes emerging victorious and other times facing defeat. Despite these obstacles, the villagers persevered and their city's borders expanded.
Through their relentless pursuit of knowledge, the villagers achieved significant breakthroughs. They successfully completed research on the wheel and pottery, unlocking new possibilities for their civilization. Inspired by their progress, the villagers embarked on new research projects, delving into toolmaking, stonecutting, and roadbuilding.
Meanwhile, Xianyang's population grew, necessitating the construction of essential structures such as a hunter's cabin. The villagers worked diligently, laying the foundation for a sustainable and prosperous city.
In their quest for knowledge and expansion, the villagers made contact with various civilizations, including the Amhara, West Slavs, Tocharians, and Anglo-Saxons. These interactions brought both challenges and opportunities, shaping the villagers' understanding of the world and fueling their desire for further exploration.
As the years passed, Xianyang continued to evolve. The settlers aimed to establish new cities and expand their influence across the land. They discovered the art of writing, which opened up a whole new realm of possibilities, enabling them to record and share their accumulated wisdom.
The story of Xianyang and its inhabitants is one of growth, resilience, and discovery. Through their dedication to research, they transformed a humble tribal village into a thriving civilization. The future holds many more adventures and opportunities for these determined villagers as they strive to leave their mark on history.

Doesn't look too bad to me, what do you think? (Beside the "nine units per turn" which seems a bit odd, the rest isn't bad at all, IMHO).
