AND2 and SVN Bug Reports - A New Dawn 2 ONLY

So I just installed this mod and starting playing. For some reason I notice my units just vanish on occasion with no notification of an animal or barbarian attack. The attached save if you hit end turn the scout to the south should just.. vanish. I have no idea why.
Didn't check your save file but it's probably Movement Limits option.
When your units are too far from your nearest cities they take 25% damage.
Is the scout already wounded?

thats weird, but off topic a little, a new dawn is, if you ask me just a smaller version of caveman 2 cosmos. Now, you can play AND and that one is really great don't misunderstand me because I discovered it and loved it, but I found caveman a little while after that and found that it basically has everything AND has and more...that being said, it is more complex and some of the stuff in the game took me a while to notice and appreciate fully. Anyway, good luck with that problem of yours or you will have to do another playthrough and hope the error was unique to that run.

That's because C2C was developed after RAND and there are people who worked on both projects. RAND philosophy is "less is more", while C2C is "more is more". In RAND we focused much more on balancing the game and keeping things under control, while in C2C for a long time they kept adding things, whatever someone had in mind could be added to C2C.

This might be it. I checked the certain terrain deals damage thing but it looks like it also makes distance from nearest city also deal damage. Which I was not expecting.

It will get easier as eras pass; you will be able to explore further until there are no more llimits, I think after Medieval Era, IIRC. You don't get damage also if you're inside another friendly civ's territory and if you're on a road (I'm not sure I remember about this last one, but it should be like this)

...or in the territory of an enemy that you are at war with (even barbarians).
...or you are standing an an oasis or a flood plains tile. This can be well exploited ;)

I get an XML error when launching the game, attached is a screenshot of the exact message, but it has to do with a tag being incorrect? I'm running the Mega Civ pack and that's where the errors are. It's for 3 different units, Denmark Guard, Mexico Rurales, and Poland Heavy Hussar. The error message is the same for all 3 but I've only attached a screenshot of the first error

You know, that probably would have a smart idea to in the first place. I was so excited to use the Mega Pack that I completely forgot about the patch.

I have an issue on the current version - Rev 1096. Pillaging conquered barbarian cities with size 1 sometimes doesn't raze them, but brings them to size 0.
In this save, there are 4 conquered barbarian cities in revolt with size 1, if I pillage all of them in the current turn, only the second from the south gets razed, the other 3 shrink to size 0 instead.

I lost the save due to the choice of the option when creating the game "blocking data changes". As a result, when you start saving, the message "the save file you have selected is..." pops up. warn the community about this problem. In this chat, this problem was ignored, but the problem is very toxic

And now I'm crashing on saves with the error "game data could not be packed". This is the end of my acquaintance with the mod. I installed everything meticulously as it should be. Bugs are the most important thing in games.

I see negative population in late game. Does anyone came across this as well? How to Fix?

Can confirm on big city pop shenanigan's, especially if you you have a food corp and a few food buildings in your city.
CTL+SHFT+T usually works for me in order to fix it. CoM seems to handle the overflow a bit better, depending on civics and city specialists.

Thanks for the replies!
@Nexus: Seems so, is there a relation between city size and population in ini files that can be fixed?
@Drakarska: I've tried CTL+SHFT+T already but no effect.

Population in the demographic statistics caps at the 32-bit signed integer limit of 2,147,483,647
138 sized city is more than 2 billion alone:)
