Animation edit. Bones returned to original position

Is it possible in Blender to adjust model bone positions and when run animations these pieces didn't return to original pose or do I still have to make a new animation set entirely?

Note that sails and oars are using Quadrireme both bones and some asset compnents. Is it possible to retain positions of both oar and sails when run animations without needing to make an entirely new set of animations?
 
I think it‘s safe to say that you will need to make new or edited animations.
Simply moving bones around and expecting them to stay in position when animations are playing will not work. No way to avoid to make custom animations, bad news, but reality. Good luck.
