My system struggles to run CIV 5 properly. The main problem is visual so I assume it's my graphics card. Wanted to check with you guys before I went and bought a new one.
Everything is so jerky in the game. When I scroll across the world, it takes a while for the screen to catch up. Movement of units and resources (like cows) is incredibly jerky to point where it slows down the game. It also takes a good 10 seconds for the area I'm focused on to render all details properly.
Also, the game simply won't start when I choose DirectX 11. I'm forced to play on 9.
My specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600)
System Manufacturer: Packard Bell
System Model: imedia S3720
BIOS Default System: BIOS
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E3300 @ 2.50GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 2048MB RAM
Page file: 1435MB used, 2147MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
My graphics card
Name: NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i
Any help would be much appreciated.
