hi!

this seems like a great mod,

does it work on multiplayer games?

thank you for your appreciation, Keldath! To be honest, Overlord series inspire Better Tomorrow series a lot!:goodjob:

I don't know whether it work on multiplayer or not. (not test with my friends)

If Better Bug AI mod work on multiplayer game and BT5 doesn't, I would like to convert BT5 to multiplayer compatible mod!

I don't know if its intended or not, but after playing through a game on this mod through about the late industrial/early modern era as America, my only issue with this mod is that my cities are basically cess-pools of unhealthiness without any way of changing that except to basically go to the default civics. The civics stifle city growth through unhappiness and unhealthiness (I wonder if this was intended, or if it was meant to be the other way around) and the higher you go on the technocracy/industrialism civics the worse unhealthiness per city you get (without any possible civics or techs or buildings that can counteract it... meaning that even with me trading with all the other civs, and building all the health bonus buildings, etc. all my cities are stuck from growing past size 13 or so because they're too unhealthy). Anyway...

I also noticed that since specialists eat 3 food, since the AI for controlling specialists is the same as in the original game my cities get stuck at a certain size and then start self-starving themselves as well.

Also, a couple of requests: perhaps put in some sort of earth-based map into this mod, because this seems like it would be cool to play on a earth map. Also, several of the new units would be much more interesting with the ability to range attack.

But besides that, which those things are a very pesky 5% of the total mod, you have a very cool mod. It's just those small things really blow up in my face when trying to play this thing. I don't know if its like that for everyone.

Thank you for your feedback, 1stcontact2035!

About not enough healthiness: I would like to present that it requires more resource for a civilization with high HDI, and BT5 take away happiness and healthiness instead before v5.0.8.
I do intend to make civilizations with high HDI suffering from more problem than civilization with low HDI do in the first place. However cities should grow more rapidly in modern age even with high HDI civic for historic view and gamer's view. I will balance this problem in the following patch. (eg. consume resources)

About specialist consuming 3 foods
: That is because "cult of personality". sorry I didn't show these text on the civic menu. The original design is 0 GPP for cult of personality civic; however it will crash with negative % of GPP. The mechanism also will be more elegant in the following patch!

About Earth map: Cool idea! It also occured to me that I could add modern campaign later!

More ranged units: I may add several ranged unit later; actually all modern siege and naval units are capable with range attack (range:0 -> 1) if they get "Extended Range Munition" promotion

Thank you again! :goodjob:

I got to the future era on my game (about 1800AD), but then it just kept crashing. Had to give up after about 20 crashes and reloads, real shame as i was really enjoying my game :-(

hi bhinso,

Do you upgrade your game to newer version? maybe the savefile are not compatible with newer version. you also could provide your savefile/version for me to analyze.
sorry for your inconvenient :(
Thank you for your feedback! :)

I haven't upgraded yet. I get this crashing to desktop a lot on other mods too not just this one. I've seen it on other threads and it's probably something to do with 'virtual memory'. However i have Windows 7 (ie 64 bit) and most of the other threads are 32 bit.

I do have my save file but How do I provide you with my save file?

I think I should start a lite version for memory allocation problem. I also encounter severe lag on my laptop; however, after removing some components, it works quite well.

and may I ask what is your computer's spec? :crazyeye:

I have an AMD Phenom II X4 965 Quadcore processor (3.4GHz)
ATI Radeon 4870 1 GB Graphics card
8GB Ram (DDR3)
Windows 7

Like i said, this mod isn't the only one where i get crashes all the time it happens on most mods. But if you have to run a lite version on a PC with the above specs then i'd say there aren't many computers that could run normal!

Hey i'm trying to download this mod... but the .exe file to install the mod isn't working. After it downloads and click RUN, a NSIS Error comes up saying

''Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.''

I have download the mod 3 times, and 3 times occurs the same error when attemping to run the mod installer...
Is there any .zip to download that doesnt is a .exe installer??? Like just download the .zip mod, unzip and place it on the Mod's folder manually like usually mods are installed???

*****I check that the download's size is 417MB, at first attemp it only download 33.5MB and appear to be completely download and appear the box to run the installer. Second try it only download 387KB and do the same. Third attemp download only 266MB and again appear like download it all and show up the box to run the installer but when you click Run, appears the message that I wrote in my previous reply*****

Ok thank you :)

Hi,

I have no main menu in your mod

Maybe you upload the mod with another language than english. It only supports english language. Change your Civilization game to english language on your options and reload again the mod.

I reupload the 5.0.8.
It is still a .exe format. Hope there are no other problems until I release 5.1.0 ;)

I try again and the problem persist :( Guess I have to waint until next version available on .zip for download :crazyeye:
