BUG/BULL flat map only?

I installed Civ patch 3.19, then BUG and BULL. However, whenever I start a game, regardless of which map I pick, it is always flat when I hit F11. I would like to get the 3D globe view whenever I hit F11. Is this a BUG or BULL setting, or maybe a 3.19 patch change? I never change the flat/toroidal/cylindrical option, so I don't know where that option even is - maybe I am just overlooking it? Any help as to why this is now the default and/or how to change it would be appreciated.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, this is normal. You will see a flat "globe" until you get "Map Centering" which requires either Stonehenge or Calendar.

Ah, that looks like that did it. I guess I never realized that map centering was needed for that before and it's been awhile since I played a game. Thanks!
