I havn't posted here I thinkl !! since 2004 but since buying civ vanilla and also getting warlords and beyond the stone I'm now compelled to do so.
Luv the mods btw downloaded so many now have 0ne of my desktop PC's solely for the purpose of getting and playing civ .which brings me to finally the point"Caveman 2 Cosmos want work on my PC's I've downloaded from several places last time being version 36 on http://www.moddb.com/mods/caveman2cosmos/downloads/caveman2cosmos I install game no problem !! all starts up luv the music at the start with the personnalise lyrics(the dedication) make choice- map' civilization etc ,wait for it to launch and after waiting a significant amount of time i end up looking at my desktop !now i feel like a right numpty!! here because according to the statistics well over 300 000 have downloaded this mod, and viewing this website no one seems to have suffered the same problem... so can anyone help here!! am i missing something >

If you have anything installed in CustomAssets, that could be causing this. BUG Mod, for example, is not intended for use with other mods, unless integrated into them, and if installed in CustomAssets will cause this effect. If this is not your problem, I would suggest asking in the Civ4 - Creation & Customization > Civ4 - Project & Mod Development > Civ 4 Caveman 2 Cosmos subforum (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=449) where the authors and users of the mod converse. I have never used C2C so can't help beyond the CustomAssets idea. Your post is more likely to get a response from knowledgable C2C people in the subforum than here.

Please give details of your system and where you got Civ4 from.
