Can I choose which changes are activated?

Hello, this is my first post on this forum.

I have never used a mod before, but I am thinking of downloading Sevomod. It looks very interesting, but before I download it and install it, I was wondering if it's possible to enable/disable each specific change to the original game?

In other words, I'm not sure I want all of the changes that Sevomod brings, and I want to have a way to control which changes actually get used before I feel safe downloading it.

Nevermind, I just downloaded it anyway after trying out another simpler mod first. Now that I know that a mod isn't permanent, I feel a lot better.
