Can i easily adjust some values in the mod?

Hi all,

I'm having great fun with this mod, having picked up civ4 again recently. I like to play maps with more civs than recommended. Further, I am trying to increase the difficulty I play on but ofter find the jump too much.

The ai tech bonus and extra tech transfer bonus from there being many civs means that the tech progresses too fast for my liking, and I find myself way behind. Is there any way I can easily reduce the ai tech bonus or tech transfer bonus?

CIV4HandicapInfo.xml and CIV4CommerceInfo.xml respectively. AI doesn't get any direct research bonus at any difficulty though, only player research is modified.
