Can I "save" the map?

Hi guys.

Since I'm really not Civ-5 expert (started to play two days ago),I decided to play on lvl 2 of 10 difficulty. The thing is: I really really like the map. My question is: can I somehow "save" the map and play same map on other difficulty,or this map will be "lost" forever? Just for the record: I have save game from turn 0.

You can save the map, but not the game.

The map will retain it's stuff, terrain, resources, natural wonders etc. but the game itself will be re-randomized. new civs, new starting location etc.

If I'm correct, you have to go to Setup Game, and then go to the map list, and it should be somewhere in that list.

It will show in additional maps I believe
