[GS] Can someone walk me through editing the game to generate less deserts and tundra tiles?

Alternatively, make deserts rarer but larger. I don't really like those 2 tile deserts in the middle of grass plains. I tried Got Lakes mod which has option like that but even when setting everything to standard and base game except for the climate, it generates weird maps, definitely doesn't feel vanilla. I just want to play on regular Island Plates map without those two tile deserts everywhere. Thanks in advance.
