Can't load saved games?

Ever since I switched to Windows 8 (and then to 10) my game crashes every time I try to load a saved game. I can start new games just fine, with and without mods/both singleplayer and multiplayer, but loading saved games, single and multiplayer, causes the game to crash.

I tried to contact 2K support but once they realized I wasn't on Windows 7 the stopped caring.

Any solutions?
