Playing as Alexander, on Prince, standard speed, huge map. If I had read the reporting bugs thread before this had happened I would have tried to save the game on these turns but I didn't.
I sent a spy to St. Petersburg and gave her the mission to sabotage production. And then I forgot all about that.
Then a good few turns later I attacked Russia. I captured cities quite quickly and then attacked St. Petersburg. Captured it, and got the message that Berenice had fled the city because of the new regime there.
Then I got to choose how she would get home.
I clicked Fly which is only 1 turn.
I figured that would be OK because I owned St. Petersburg and my capital.
The next turn chuntered on.
I then got the message that Berenice had successfully sabotaged the Industrial Zone in my capital. She hadn't.
One turn later I got the message that Berenice had been captured by me.
When I click on the Spy icon, I can see that Berenice has been captured by Alexander and I have the option to click on the arrange release. But nothing happens when I do.
A bit Kafkaesque as a bug really.
