Looks like we're going to stand or fall together, SuBi. I'd love to pick the Bombers over the Stampeders, but everyone, including the local sportswriters, is picking the Stamps.

You'll have to be lucky in BC, Raisin Bran. Apparently Montreal hasn't won there since the last millenium.

Im going for the "they lost so many in a row they are bound to make a comeback" theory :D

Yesterday on a sports talk show on Radio-Canada (au dessus de la melée) Bruno Heppel (former Al's player) stated that the Als' were overevaluated in the beginning of the year.
Also Puff dosen't want Matthews to leave until Matthews want's to leave.

My call is that we won't see Calvillo too much next year.

Have you guys seen the CFL Top 50 Alltime Best Players at TSN:

http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/feature/?fid=10826

voters must include at least one quarterback, two running backs, four receivers, five offensive linemen, one punter (or punter/kicker), one kicker (or kicker/punter), four defensive linemen, three linebackers and five defensive backs. This adds up to a total of 26 players representing each CFL position.

I was thinking that maybe we could do something like this ourselves, either just for fun or someone could work out a scoring mechanism based on comparing the players we pick with the winning ones.

wow ... don't count on me to fix something like that !

with the 4 -5 of us it would be hartto do !

I've only really been into the CFL in the last 6 to 7 years, I don't have the knowledge to put up a list like that ! :)
