I've managed to make Freya's work ( http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=333249 ) compatible with EMM.

To install follow Freya's instructions, and grab this update for amurite towers while you're at it ( http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=8421371&postcount=37 ) , then overwrite with the two files I've attached below.

I have tweaked CIV4PlotLSystem.xml to add support for a couple new improvements from EMM and keep the "visible improved forests" functionality, and tweaked CIV4ArtDefines_Building.xml to add support for a couple new buildings from EMM.

I have NOT tweaked CIV4CityLSystem.xml , so hopefully that hasn't been updated since Freya posted his. I've played a couple AI autoplay games and didn't notice any gamebreaking issues so all should be good.

KNOWN ISSUES:

1) IIRC Freya changed the looks for Kurio enclaves ( http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/996/kurio.jpg ) but they still seem to show up as the old golden model for some weird reason.

Cool. I did use this myself for a while when I was first working on this mod. I loved the different graphics, but the reason I never incorporated it is because it overwrites the religion-themed improvement graphics.

Red palisades are due to an invalid reference in one of the ArtDefine files I believe. And if I recall correctly, there were some other similar issues that resulted in pink squares showing in the city mouseovers.

Dont know about the Enclaves.

Great work! :)

ExtraModMod hasn't touched that file at all (I don't even know what it does), and MNAI hasn't touched that file since r1 (and it could just be the initial upload), so I guess is safe to bet that nothing is broken :)

I used this mod at the beginning of my experience with FFH2 as well, and I did not remember why I stopped using it. This was certainly the reason. If this problem and the other issues mentioned were fixed, I would gladly include it in EMM (I even have an issue for it, see https://bitbucket.org/Terkhen/extramodmod/issue/133/city-styles).

imo the modified improvement art is better than the religious one, much more varied and fitting. I've tried applying Aurelazza's tweaks but what it did is give cottages mixed looks ( half religious, half civilization ) :crazyeye:

anyway, if you want to only include the changes to how cities look just don't use Freya's Civ4PlotLSystem and voilà :D
