Civ 6 Not Closing Down Bug

Just picked up Civ 6 again after a few months away from the game.

When closing the game down using the quit to desktop button, the game window closes but the background process continues to run stopping me from opening the game again either from the 2K launcher or Epic Games launcher.

Anybody had the same issue and know how to fix it? Or is this a known bug that has already been reported?

Same here. I have not seen anything related to it.

I had this issue on Steam with cloud saves enabled.
