Civ V Wonder Art problems

[The Garibaldi]

For quite a while now, whenever I build a wonder I am unable to see the very beautiful artwork in full. Instead I see just about half of the artwork, and the rest is just black. Wonder notifications are also messed up, as instead of seeing the wonder that I built, I see 4 tiny emblems of other wonders.

Additionally, with the recent patch, this problem has spread to the new loading screen. Where as others see a FULL beautiful painting of the The Kremlin or The Oracle, I only see half of it.

I am wondering if anybody else has experienced this same problem. Again, this problem occurred before the patch, so I am not blaming that on it.

Like I say to all bugs, have you tried to verify your files?

Well you could provide the screenshots which would help us fix your problem

and like Pouakai said, verify your game cache, which will 90% most likely gonna re-download files, the image files have probably become corrupted, so they need to be fixed, which the verify game cache is gonna fix .

The question though is, why would these files get corrupted... wouldn't be surprised if that HDD fails soonish.

I have installed gods and kings the problem is still there and it isnt a screen shot its a picture I took with my phone

I would suggest verifying your files as a first line of attack, and if not we'll go from there.

1) get rid of any mods.
2) repair/verify the game files / reinstall the game.
