Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

how do you transfer him from there there is no way out?

He should be able to enter the city and then use ability to move between cities. But if you switch place of Sippa and the quarry for example he can't do that.

Doesn't exactly seem like a fair, or intelligent deal to me. Three luxuries for one iron when I have 2 copies of iron? Pass.

Guess Russia really wanted Niter

There was nothing I could do to transfer the Admeral. I thought at first the Wonder was blocking him, then I made a Harbor. After making the harbor I still couldn't transfer him (unable to access the city). Reddit posters said they were aware of the problem and to just delete him. I ended up deleting him to save on maintenance.

i built another city where that hammer pin is and blocked him in down to them mountains and the stupid dumb **** stayed in that spot the whole game!

The Game of Forward-settlers.

Gandhi forward settles.

Gorgo tries it too.

The unescorted Settler is actually captured from the Barbarians, who captured it from Gorgo. Gosh everyone's trying to forward-settle everyone else in this game.

The splendid isolation or...
the loneliest Phillip of 'em all, not even a barb to sling a rock to, with a note wrapped around... sigh...

My first try at the 'shuffle' map type.
If you want to try this lonely heart fate, the seed is:

The melancholic Spanish ancient theme is so fitting here :)

Isla de España seems like the worst place to be in. Just two pearls, marble, rice, deer, stone, one rich fishing bed, and three rich crab beds in an area on and around a ten-tile large island completely separated from the main continental shelf.

nearly every time i've tried shuffle map i ended up on a tiny little island like that. it might as well be called tiny island shuffle!

It's 1943 in an Immortal game... And China discovered Archery!

(I suppose working on Totalitarianism in 1943 isn't also that cool, but I was just filling in the skipped holes in civics. :)

As a Chinese myself, move along, nothing strange here. It is known that we RE-discovered everything around that time period.:hammer2::lol:

Jokes aside, it's most likely due to the fact that no later tech requires Archery(I think) which I really don't like, so the AI just ignored it until now

that happened to me too with Tomyris. It seems after you block their settlers they abandon them

You're right, archery is a leaf tech. However I often find archers indispensable for getting thru the early barbarian and civ attacks. And later they upgrade to crossbows, which are also very useful.

That's very true for us human players. But not for AIs I'm afraid.
They seems to negelect ranged unit a lot and are always building melee and cavalry units like a maniac.
I actually don't recall ever seen more than 2 ranged unit in any AI's frontline forces.
Sometimes even their entire military has only about 3~4 ranged units.

That's probably why they ignored a tech that only provides a ranged unit up until now when they almost run out of techs to research.

Spoiler :

Four out of the 5 civs converted to Catholicism... except one, Brazil. The civ who founded it.

You'd think religious victory would be close, but the game lasted in this state for many turns until Russia won a culture victory. I don't know why the AI could not convert its own cities, especially since it had religious units all over the map.
