Civ4 on Packard Bell Laptop

Hi, I have a Packard Bell EasyNote E4718

Has 1GB ram, 64MB Intel Extreme Graphics, and 1.6MHZ CPU

Somebody has some tricks to improve the speed of the game? Resolution under 1024? some option could be disabled?

I remember that when I installed Civ4 on my other laptop (broken ) I changed some options (before 1.61 patch), but I don't remember it.

1.6MHZ huh, didn't think we still used 8086's? They only thing holding you back is that POS Extreme Graphics so turning down all graphics options should help.

1024x768 is the lowest res, sorry.
turn off audio and movies. details low, single unit graphics, etc.
close all possible apps before launching

stay away from largest maps
