Interview with Ed Beach. I would rate pcgameshardware as a reliable source usually...

- Espionage is closely linked to districts, too (??) - Maybe a security district?
- You need to capture the city center to get the city, you don't need to "capture" the districts
- building walls gives 1 range attack to the city and 2 range attack to the encampment!
- wonders cannot be destroyed but damaged by nuclear weapons....
- flanking and support boni still in place for combat
- less promotions but bigger/better ones compared to CiV
- only one district-type per city confirmed (so not 3 science districts in one city!)
- Ed states 5 hexes distance between cities seem appropriate...
- "personally I like volcanoes" (???)
- Lead designers meet with Sid Meier on a regular basis and every few weeks he gets a deep insight into CivVI and they discuss the different mechanics of the game...

I have found this french article:
http://www.millenium.org/civilization-6/civilization-6/actualites/civ-6-civilisations-presentes-guide-faction-nation-pays-mtj-146050?page=1

My french is poor, so somebody who knows french better should check it too. Information that I retrieved is that it stated the name of the chinese agenda as "Envie de Merveilles", which probably means something like "desire for wonders". Moreover it stated that 11 of 18 civilisations are known: America, China, Egypt, Japan, England, France, Greeks, Spain, Aztecs, India and Rome. Veryfing Greeks and Rome which seemed obvious.

I am not sure how new these information are.

Some of the bigger points:

Automatization

- less automatization (builders have to be handled manually, scouts and ships stop when they encounter ruins or foes)

Envoys and City-States

- envoys can be sent to city states
- the more quests you complete for a city state the more envoys you can place there and the more influence you have
- envoys earn ressources from the city states over time
- if your influence is big enough you become the suzerain of a city-state which gives you extra-bonusses and the loyalty of the city-state in peace and war-time
- you can recruit units from city-states for a restricted time-period (with gold)
- you can send envoys to a city-state even in war in order to try to change their loyality during the conflict
- if you declare war on a city-state you lose all envoys placed there

Again, sorry if this is old news.

GameCrate hands-on as Brazil:

http://www.gamecrate.com/hands-exploring-cities-and-city-states-brazil-civilization-vi/14236

"The developers introducing our demo recommended we try out Brazil if we were interested in really diving into the new ways that cities work in Civ VI, and that was all I needed to hear to make my choice. Brazil features a couple of unique benefits that make them good city builders, including a happiness-boosting District (the Street Carnival) and benefits to many Districts when they are placed next to rainforest tiles (which will be feature on most maps in which Brazil appears, thanks to Civ VI's built-in start bias mechanics)."

Indeed a good read, especially for Firaxians! :)

I looked up some articles, too:

He's content! ;)

german article: CiVI is doing well in steamsales on 6...

messy combat... I got the impression he was not that experienced... And he got crushed by Tomyris ;)
you can still do things the A.I. takes its turns. I could inspect cities, look at units, and move around the map, all while the calculations were happening.

Let's hope Ms Darney is right about this:
Civ is one of those games that has so many levels that you can play it very casually or very hardcore.

http://www.idigitaltimes.com/civilization-6-gameplay-preview-how-i-mastered-art-steal-560443

no more mixed art-and-artifact museums, though theming bonuses still apply

The game even throws your civilisation into anarchy for a few turns if you switch governments too often.
I didn't know that but I like it, if its true...
