Civilization 4 Vs Rise Of Nations -> Which is better?

RON is a really great game, and it has a good MP. But the best game online is Warcraft III

Blizzard produces RTS Games with the largest Online player community.

Sadly, they're too immersed with their WoW MMORPG. I doubt we will ever see another RTS within the next 5 years or so.

RoN has a better user interface and seems more polished in that regard, but the game was boring, played it for a few days, maybe it was hours, and never played again. Unfortunately, Civ4 has not gotten me hooked like Civ3 and I have not played it all that much either, but I still like it I guess.

RoN was a phenomenally done game, but civ is definitely more engaging.

No contest. I voted for CivIV as, for me, it is clearly better than RoN... which I have never played.

Civilization IV, definitely.

I played *one* game of RoN. That was more than enough for me. I mean, come on --- it's boring, especially since the units don't even "talk". I almost fell asleep during that 43-minute disaster.

Without question Civilization which has more depth, variety and leads to different outcomes most of the time, unlike RON

I've never played RoN, but unless it has done something magical to transcend the limitations of RTS, then I vote Civ4.
