Civilization V Funny screenshots

What kind of map is that?!

Oh, I was just messing around in the world builder. I was trying to make a city with as much population as I could in game, and I put 2 guys up on the top island to go to war with each other. Seems I put them too far away from each other though, they just sort of pulled their armies back and stared daggers at each other the entire game.

Spoiler :
Really? Are you serious?! Is this a bug or what?

Spoiler :
God dammit Firaxis! Fix this! Make it so barbarians don't spawn on trade routes.

Why? There's got to be a catch of running trade routes through unclaimed territory, right?

I thought my caravan was going through the gold and my units who were blocking Zulu settlers until the "Barbarian Encampment Discovered" showed up and that's when I realised my caravan was going around that mountain.

One of the display options (along with hex grid, tile yields, etc.) is trade routes. I highly recommend it.

Well, actually, in Brwod's defense, there is something off about it.

1. I never knew that Barbarians could be units that require resources (i.e Swordsman)

2. I DO assume you settle Shanghai AFTER the Camp was settled.

1. Yeah, and when you're playing Germany (or Ottoman I think), and capture one of them, they don't take away a resource.

2. Nope. I would've taken out the encampment a long time ago. I'm like an XP addict.

1. I'm I the only one whose noticed this? Apparently my civ's internet is so advanced it doesn't need computers.

2. The special swordsman

3. Lighthouse preparing for launch...

Ok so you might think, ummm, Japan it's a little late for that. However, in order to make up for the late religion they found it again five years later...

I think he means one of the swordsmen was facing the opposite direction of the rest. I know, it took me a good time to figure it out.

So while making a mod I must've done something wrong with the UU graphics, resulting in this:
Spoiler :

Cue the titanic...

Both the 'recalled to life' and the grumpy unthankful reply made me laugh :)

Was he playing Indonesia? Because if he was, the funny thing was that it WASN'T a kris swordsman but a normal one, probably given to him by a CS.

Nahhh, I thought the same, but hes actually the...Comanche? (I think that's right) anyways, its not Indonesia for sure, although I have seen the Iroquois with swords men before :3. But for some reason, every now and again, one unit of a group will face the wrong way :p

Also, that Titanic pic was epic
