Drill IV
Chieftain
Whenever I need to decide which Civilization to play, or which Technology to research, or which Policy to adopt in CiV, I use the following tables:

Here is a version that can be edited; if you spot mistakes or things I forgot, just go ahead correcting them. I will take sensible edits into the HTML version every now and then. You are welcome to post a note to this thread if you change anything, otherwise changes might go unnoticed:

Color Coding is yellow for Civs, purple for Policies and cyan for Techs. I tried to make the tables non-redundant, so one should intuitively know where to find what.
If there are sections within one table, that is for structure. I did not follow a rigorous rule for structuring the tables and I do not think that this is necessary, since the tables are not huge.
Of course everybody is welcome to use this spreadsheet as a basis for some other reference to CiV (I'm looking at you, Anion ). The spreadsheet is just the most comfortable solution that spontaneously occured to me.
One type of mistake that I would expect to be common in the tables is unsystematic capitalization of words. Since my mother tongue is German, I'm used to capitalizing all nouns; and I tried to treat civ-specific words as proper nouns mostly. There are bound to be mistakes here, and if someone takes the time to do a correct capitalization, that would be also welcome
