hi community,
four weeks ago i found a kind of civ to be played as a MMOG-browsergame (german language only). it's called CivWar (http://www.civwar.net/).
each "round" is being played about 52 days (nighttime is always stopped) from yeah 0 to 2500. the map is a donut world. it is programmed by two persons who do this besides their job. graphics and features are barely civ1-standard, but therefore it's absolutely free.
at this time about 50 players are active players ... some started later (bonus), others are already conquered. i think the next "round" will start in october.
would be nice to meet some guys there.
