I plan to continue with civ4 until Star Trek 4.0 is out; after that I will remain with civ4 only to fix bugs with Star Trek, assuming I switch to civ5 at that point as planned. I already have a sci-fi mod for civ5 in the early planning stages. There might be a period where I'm on both and not primarily modding any one game; all this depends on the moddability of civ5 and how much time I have.
