Crash in Into the Rennaisance scenario

I was playing the Into the Rennaisance scenario as Byzantium and the game crashed after the 1st turn. This seemed weird to me, so I tried it again and it crashed as well - at the exactly same point. This is the 1st time Civ V has crashed on me and it looks there is something wrong with the scenario when I try to play as Byzantium (other civs seem fine).

Anyone know why this might be?? My version of Civ is 6.2.9200

That version number doesn't tie to anything familiar to me. Are you playing one of the Mac versions?
