i work currently on a total-conversion mod and the first step in my work, was to clean up the xml-file like techinfos ect...
this here is a clean mod, without techs (only the futuretech left), only two civs and leaders are left.
if you want to make a mod from the begin, you can use this for a clean work.
you can add a new tech (or change the futuretech for the first) and you dont need look in the other xml files which depend on the technologies like buildinfos ect...
if you have your techs ready in the TechInfos.xml-file then you can check the other files. for me is it a clean way to make a mod. bug-search and crashes are in this way easy to locate.
