I am Fluffy_Rabbit and my first variant of Earth18Civ was popular - thread is here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=480606 with about 400 downloads.
This is another variant, quite different and better. Designed for normal speed and K-Mod though will be fine with vanilla BtS.
I made this map 7 months ago and cannot remember everything. Some points:-
New World Civs are Inca, Aztec and Native American with Cahokia correctly placed. Indigenous Americans begin with inherent diplomatic antagonism to European Civs.
Shrines for Hinduism (Indus valley), Buddhism (Himalayan plateau) and Judaism (Jerusalem) are already built, in barbarian cities. You can still discover all the religions as normal though if you discover one of the above it becomes important to capture the holy city.
Pyramids are built in Egypt (barbarian city) and Egyptians start in Sudan.
Numerous changes to balance, barbarian cities and diplomatic attitudes.
This map went through at least 10 iterations in testing and I warmly recommend it
